Maine Middleschool And Birth Control: Say Hello To Home Schooling

As our educational system seems to be plunging further and further into the inane world of sexualizing our kids, King Middle School in Portland, Maine decided to speed the process up by providing a wide variety of birth control to its students.

The Portland School Committee approved the plan, offered by city health officials, on a 5-2 vote Wednesday night. Wow, a whole TWO people voted against it. And one of those was because the measure didn't specify the services being offered. Oh yeah, THAT's a heck of a reason to say no.

How about the simple moral and ethical obligations to society as a reason. How about the psychological effects that sexual activities may have on the kids. And let us not forget that no birth control is 100% effective. What then? Will schools then start providing abortions for 11-13 year old girls? What about STD's? I don't recall ever reading on ANY birth control packaging that it will prevent AIDS, Syph, etc. I won't even bother with mentioning the added risks of cancer due to hormones in some of the contraception forms. Will the schools health centers become chemo-treatment clinics as well?

No wonder we have so many kids on clinical drugs these days. We've let them down in so many ways already that they grow further into depression and "hey, let's just walk into school with a couple loaded weapons and start capping people." Ya think?

Ooohh. It will be alright, the children will have to get a consent form from their parents to visit the health center. Sure, but they don't have to say WHY they are going to the health center. Something about some sort of confidentiality crap. The kids are only 11-13 years old! There shouldn't be any kind of confidentiality in the first place. The parents NEED to know what is happening to their kids, ALWAYS.

One of the proponent arguments for this disaster of a measure was, "Unfortunately, not every child is getting the kind of parental involvement that is going to help keep them safe." That was from a Richard Verrier. Verrier also said,"If my daughter were not able to talk with me about something, if she couldn't reach me for whatever reason, to keep her safe and healthy, I would want to make sure she had access to those resources from trusted adults." That's a cop-out from a parent who expects society to raise his kids for him. And he answers his own argument of, 'not every child is getting the kind of parental involvement that is going to help keep them safe.' Important tip here 'Dick,' GET INVOLVED, and stop letting MTV raise your kids.

What the end result of this will be is more and more people starting to home school their children. It's already started. The feminist movement of women having to strive to be at the top of corporations is dying off, and more women are CHOOSING to stay home and just be a Mom. And they are ENJOYING it. It's not because their overbearing husband is making them, but it's a natural longing, to just be MOTHERLY. Women are actually smarter than guys in this respect. "Sure, let caveman-guy go beat brow at work. I'll relax a bit at home."

And since women do tend to do a bit more rationalizing, they SEE where society is taking our kids in schools and say to themselves, "Oh HELL no! I'll teach Timmy. Not a chance he's gonna participate in 'Islam-week' at a public school."

My deepest admiration to every woman out there who has the courage to make this kind of move in life. To the rest, I hope the opportunity presents itself one day for you to do the same. Not for some male-dominance agenda. But for you to have the chance to just be, Mom. And not HAVE TO worry about the stockholders of a corporation. Why do you think more women are living even longer than before than guys?
