The "Governator" Shows Liberal Colors: Files Brief To Abolish Marriage

I suppose it should come as no surprise to anyone, that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has finally "come out of the closet" about one of his true visions for the future of California. What is surprising, is that he did it knowing full well that over 60% of the California populace voted IN FAVOR of the states Prop 22 just a few years back in 2000.

In an article written by Randy Hall on the CNSNews.com website, Hall details legal briefs submitted to the Calif. Supreme Court by BOTH Attorney General Jerry Brown AND Gov. Schwarzenegger that seek to abolish marriage in the state.

Brown's submission filed on Aug. 17, stated that "the words 'marry' and 'marriage' have no essential constitutional significance under the California Constitution. Thus, the legislature could change the name of the legal relationship now known as 'marriage' to some other name without any constitutional impediment."

Meanwhile, "Arnie's" brief, filed that same day said, "the administration submits that use of the words 'marry' and 'marriage' is not required by the California Constitution. Thus, the name of the legal relationship now known as 'marriage' could be changed."

Way to go gays, erm, I mean guys. I guess it doesn't matter that your now pandering to a minority of chosen life stylists that number less than 3% of the Nations population. I'm beginning to believe Arnold just might have done one too many of his own stunts in those movies, and is now suffering from severe mental problems. Try wearing a helmet next time you crash your Harley Arnie.

Randy Thomasson, an organizer of VoteYesMarriage.com and the group's California Marriage Amendment, is calling for support in getting the marriage amendment on the 2008 ballot. Thomasson also said in a news release, "This is proof positive that the VoteYesMarriage.com initiative, which will prevent marriage from being abolished and prevent marriage rights from being eliminated, is absolutely needed to protect the sacred institution of marriage from activist judges and liberal politicians."

No kidding! The RINO factor is growing pretty steadily these days. Marriage needs all the help it can get to keep us from spiraling downward into a "Future family unit - All married together" situation as described on Alain's Newsletter page. Unless that is, you really WANT to be married to a mule?

NJ.com Star-Ledger Article: How Criminals Are Dodging Deportation

It would seem that the "sanctuary city" may be coming to a far more rapid end than anyone may have thought. With the overwhelming response by Americans, (thanks to grassroots groups like NumbersUSA rallying the populaces) against the "Amnesty" bill, the biggest topic of today aside from terrorism is illegal immigration. And YES, I used the word ILLEGAL, not that candy-assed liberal "undocumented worker" crap. Americans ARE fed up with handing over their hard earned dollars to people who are essentially breaking the law just by being here.

No where is this more prevalent than in Newark, N.J. where a multi-crime ILLEGAL immigrant, along with five other individuals, (four of which were also illegal, the fifth was a legal resident immigrant,) brutally slayed three Newark teenagers. Newark is one of many sanctuary cities across the US. But perhaps not for much longer. Residents are beginning to wonder if perhaps these few illegals were just a few too many.

José Lachira Carranza, the primary suspect in this triple homicide has thrust the "system" for dealing with illegals into the spotlight as never seen before. Carranza had been previously arrested three times, one for a bloody bar brawl and two in connection with a single child rape case. Americans EXPECT someone like this to have been shipped out back to his native Peru along time ago. But Carranza, like many other illegals has fallen through the cracks.

Nowhere is this more accurately detailed than in an article written by Brian Donohue for the NJ.com Star-Ledger along with contribution from Staff writers Jeff Whelan, Jeffery C. Mays, Jonathan Schuppe, William Kleinknecht and Mark Mueller. Read the article for many more details.

In his article, Donohue said, In a report issued last year, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General projected that 302,500 immigrants will be jailed in county or state lockups this year. Most will go free rather than face deportation, even if they have been convicted of a crime, the auditors found.

Donohue also listed the "lack of manpower" in agencies attributing to this problem. One such was, ICE has recently begun asking Essex County for a list of foreign-born inmates. Most recently, they asked for the list on July 19. Faunce said his office faxed a list of approximately 30 inmates over to ICE the next day. When ICE staff arrived July 26 to interview those on that list half of the inmates had already been released from jail. "Because of the lag time and amount of inmates processed in and out, there's a good portion that are released," said Scott Faunce, Essex County's director of public safety.

This does nothing for building Americans confidence in its Security. Add to this, the FINALLY having been deported Elvira Arellano, who had been previously deported AND RETURNED to the US illegaly again. She sought "sanctuary" in a Chicago storefront church in an attempt to prevent being deported yet again. So it would appear that even deportation, if an illegal is even deported, isn't guaranteed to keep them out. And giving them sanctuary isn't improving the situation.

As suggested in the post 9/11 security report of building a double tier fence along the southern border needs to be resumed, AND sped up. No, this won't stop illegals, but it will stem the tide enough to perhaps allow ICE to concentrate on its actual job, deporting those illegals that are already here.

Clinton Lied No One Died: Yeah They Did, In A Big Way

We've all seen them, the bumper stickers, window boards and antenna balls; "Clinton Lied-No One Died." If one were to be going by U.S. deaths only, this still wouldn't be accurate, very close, but still a lie.

The reference made by the "..no one died," label is to Clinton's supposedly humanitarian aide in Kosovo, which amazingly enough was to protect muslims. Albanian muslims. Yeah, the same kind of Albanian Muslims that attempted the Fort Dix fiasco.

This is more accurately described, and in much greater detail regarding the thousands of deaths that occurred after the with drawl from Kosovo, in an article posted on the Conservative Voice web page. The article itself is titled, "Clinton Lied and People DID Die," and was written by Todd Huston.

Kosovo, it would appear, is "the best-kept secret of the worst most murderous failure of the Clinton Administration" as Thomas E. Woods, Jr. reveals in his book "33 Questions About American History You're Not Supposed to Ask." After MANY Lib's and Dem's highly supported the war in Iraq, many since have turned their back on our troops, and our country and joined the ranks of detractors calling for an end to the war. They have been basing their turncoat attitudes on "iraq being an illegal war."

Yet, Clinton's decision to enter the conflict (in Kosovo) was based on the lie that he was valiantly trying to stop the "genocide" of the Muslim population in Kosovo. There is no doubt that there was a lot of killing going on in that corner of the world at the time and that it was all a bad situation. But, genocide? Hardly.

The number of Albanians killed that was bandied about prior to the intervention of US and NATO forces was something near 400,000 Albanians murdered by Serbian forces. Yet, it was revealed in 2006 that there were never any more than 7,000 people reported missing during the whole of the conflict. As Woods reports, "The lurid claims of war supporters typically proved unfounded." Since the action ended, we have seen proven false nearly every "fact" the Clinton Administration used to justify this war. But we hear daily about the "lies and deceptions" the Bush administration used to push us into war in Iraq.

So what about the deaths? As mentioned above, if only factoring in U.S. casualties, we only lost two American Soldiers. A far cry from the 2,700+ we have lost, over almost seven years in Iraq, but they still count. If we count deaths, period, well that's a whole new ball game. Clinton's bombings killed over 2,000 people ... and not just among the so-called enemy Serbs. People of all sides died. Worse, a humanitarian mess resulted from the bombing as hospitals, schools, and the infrastructure was destroyed. Later, in contravention to Clinton's stated purpose, the Serbs redoubled their efforts to oust the Albanians proving that the bombing didn’t stop any "genocide” at all.

Also, since the bombing stopped, the UN has taken control and that has been an even worse disaster on the infrastructure of the area than anything we have seen in Iraq. Many areas in Kosovo, Bosnia-Herzegovina still does not have reliable water, electric or roads and the economy is still completely destroyed there. Unlike in Iraq where over 65% of Iraq now has continual uninterrupted power, and reliable water sources, while still relatively scarce, are improving. More abhorrently, the UN has been caught keeping local teenaged girls as sex slaves in brothels for their UN "peacekeeping" employees. So which is really the greater evil here? Bush using Clinton's collected intelligence to invade Iraq?, Or Clinton's self centered ego boosting humanitarian disaster in Kosovo?

CNN's "God's Warriors": What A Joke This Series Was

A six hour mini-series hosted by CNN's Christiane Amanpour which first aired Tuesday-Thursday nights last week, seemed less like a documentary concerned with the actual reality of the "fundamentalist" monotheism of Jews, Muslims, and Christians and resembled more of the bias we have come to expect from liberal views toward religious faiths.

The shows basically spent the majority of the time showing a sympathetic, (which was actually a PAthetic) view of islam in America and utter dislike for Jews in the West Bank areas as well as Evangelicals.

CNN's "Muslim-show" only refered to muslims/islam as fundamentalist/ism, while pretty much every reference to Jews and Evangelicals was predominately "right-wingers," or even stretching it to say the "Christian right." Can they say "fair and balanced?," on the Communist News Network, nah, I didn't think they could. That might drop their ratings even further below Al-Jazeera's in the liberal public's eyes.

As a matter of fact, during the muslim segment, the only couple of times the term "right wing" was used, was to refer to Dutch Parliament member Geert Wilders. Most probably for his stance against the islamic immigrant incursion that has tripled the islamic faith in the Netherlands over the last 30 years. Violence like the Van Gogh murder didn't help muslim's popularity there either. Wilders has said he feels the Dutch are losing their country to an alien culture. Now he knows what it's beginning to feel like here in America.

The vast majority of the Jewish and Christian shows actually centered around opponents and/or dissenters. Namely, every ones favorite peanut-head, Jimmy Carter. If that doesn't just blow any credibility they might have had, then I don't know what to tell you. Anyways, Carter was quoted as saying Christians should, "focus on issues like poverty rather than on divisive issues like abortion and gay marriage," and he opposes "the growing influence of fundamentalism in many religions characterized by rigidity, male domination, and exclusion."

To make the matter even worse, let's just have them toss in some Global Warming crap which has absolutely no place in a religious documentary, just to round off the idiocy of this airing. Oh wait, THEY DID! Richard Cizik, the vice president for the National Association of Evangelicals, who, preaches the "gospel of saving the planet." How sad and pathetic can they get?

Wait! There's more!

Theodor Meron, a Holocaust survivor and international lawyer, (who was given plenty of air time during the Jewish warriors segment,) stood by his 40-year old opinion that the Jewish settlements on the West Bank violate the Fourth Geneva Convention. Yeah, like we can count on terrorists to start abiding by the Geneva convention BEFORE they behead or drag burned US bodies though the streets.

Knowing the natural tendancy for the liberal bias which is common practice on CNN as well as every other major media outlet, save FOX news, I actually watched this "hoping" for a balanced series of programs. Perhaps, since it was covering the three major religions, they could at least TRY to be balanced. Little by little, minute by minute, that hope faded. It didn't help matters much with Amanpour's obvious hostilities towards everything Christian pouring forth, especially during the interview with Ron Luce.

In the end, all that can be said is that this series was probably the most heinous injustice that could be done to ALL religious faiths. Period. Better luck next time Christie.

American Congress For Truth's Newest Launch: ACT For America!

I was beginning to wonder how long it would take for something like this to come around. And it certainly couldn't have come at a better time. The American Congress for Truth has launched it's newest wing: ACT for America, which will be a 501(c)(3) organization.

Let The Deportations Begin: American's Outcry Being Noticed

In what many Americans are now calling "long overdue," the outcry against illegal immigration, and the inherent crimes involved, are becoming a noticed voice by media outlets. Depending on which "poll" you go by, between 34%-70% of the crimes being committed these days are by illegal aliens. And contrary to the belief of some, statistics show that only 12%-18% are doing those "jobs that no American will do." Like I said, depending on which poll you go by.

Regardless of which poll or statistical analysis you chose to subscribe to, the fact is, 100% of them are in fact breaking the law just by being here. Now, a portion of them really are here to try and make a better life for themselves. I can understand that, even appreciate the desire for a better life. But at what cost to Americans? Should America, even though we are one of the most prosperous nations on earth, be responsible for the failed, corrupted governments of other nations?

California knows this problem better than most other states. Over the last couple decades, California has had to build more than double the infrastructure normally required in order to deal with the mass influx of illegals. (Anybody need to repair any bridges? Sorry, we have to build more schools for illegals.) It has discovered, that it has to build an entire elementary school almost every day in order to keep up with the growth just from illegals. Add into the factor of the "sanctuary" cities, such as San Francisco, and it becomes a naturally downward spiral. What the open borders crowds, pro-amnesty crowds, and all those offering "sanctuary" are failing to recognize is the crime involved with illegal immigration. The widespread use of falsifying documents and fraud by utilizing SSN's, thefts, and let us not forget the violence. This is not better depicted than by the recent brutal slaying of three teens in New Jersey. ABC anchor Elizabeth Vargas hosted a report Tuesday night that investigated the largely "unreported" aspect of illegal immigration, violent crime.

During her report, Vargas related how "two of the suspects were in this country illegally. And some are saying it's a crime that would never have occurred if immigration laws were enforced." Bringing up the sanctuary angle again, Reporter Jake Tapper expounded on "their presence in Newark, a city hospitable to illegal immigrants, what conservatives are calling a 'sanctuary city,' is now part of the debate over illegal immigration." To illustrate, Tapper ran soundbites from three people on the street who all argued for a crackdown on illegals. Tapper then added that "Liberal immigration activists argue that illegal immigrants do not commit violent crimes more than any other group. But for many in mourning here in Newark, two illegal immigrants may have been two too many."

Add into this mix, the recent rally on cinco de mayo in Los Angeles, where illegals protesting deportations and demanding citizenship rights, threw bottles at Police Officers which sparked off several officers being penalized for use of excessive force, and you have added only more fuel to the fire. And to top it all off, illegal alien and multi-law breaker Elvira Arellano who took refuge in a Chicago church pressing for her 15 minutes of fame by defying authorities.

Arellano came to Washington state illegally in 1997. She was deported to Mexico shortly after, but returned and moved to Illinois in 2000, taking a job cleaning planes at O'Hare International Airport. (Can we say, lack of security?) She was arrested in 2002 at O'Hare and convicted of working under a false Social Security number. She was to surrender to authorities last year. Did she? No, She sought refuge at the storefront church on Chicago's West Side on Aug. 15, 2006. She had not left the church property until she decided to travel by car to Los Angeles.

Arellano was arrested Sunday afternoon outside Our Lady Queen of Angels church in Los Angeles. She was deported several hours later. Immigration activists responded with anger to her arrest, and promised protests and vigils to support her. Anti-illegal immigrant groups said the arrest was long overdue. "Just because the woman has gone public and made an issue of the fact that she is defying law doesn't mean the government doesn't have to do its job," said Ira Mehlman, of the Federation for American Immigration Reform.

In the end, the illegal immigration debate will be facing the same problems that the gay agenda crowd and islamic organizations now face. You don't FORCE Americans to accept ideals as it will backlash in your face.

Islamophobia Thugs: Coming To A Town Near You

In an article on posted on the Family Security Matters website and relayed in e-letter by the American Congress for Truth, FSM Contributing Editor Patrick Poole describes the new wave of intimidation being used by every ones favorite Terrorist sponsoring organization CAIR.

Those old enough to recall homes or businesses being marked with a Star of David and/or the word “Juden,” may find this new tactic reminiscent of the Nazi Stormtroopers of WWII.

Poole's article recounts a "neighborly visit" by three muslims, unannounced in the late evening to a Ohio residents home, regarding a bumper sticker on the Ohio man's truck. The bumper sticker read "Jesus loves you, and Allah wants you dead."

The CAIR trio involved were – Ahmad Al-Akhras, CAIR national vice chairman, Asma Mobin-Uddin, CAIR-Ohio president, and Abukar Arman, a CAIR-OH board member. CAIR used this incident, as told to the local establishment media, was an example of how they "invite dialogue."

But anyone with even half a brain recognizes this as just more proof that CAIR regularly resorts to threats, intimidation and demonization to silence critics. And it wouldn't be the first time they've resorted to intimidation. Earlier this month, attorneys for CAIR sent a letter threatening legal action against the Young Americans Foundation if they allowed NY Times bestselling author and JihadWatch director, Robert Spencer, to speak at their conference on "The Truth of the Council on American-Islamic Relations." This thuggery is reminiscent of CAIR's 2004 lawsuit against independent journalist Andrew Whitehead of Anti-CAIR, a suit which was dropped by CAIR in order to avoid responding to required interrogatories about its historic ties to HAMAS and role in terror financing.

The "islamophobic-offender," was a former Marine officer who served in Somalia and Iraq. Somalia being Abukar Arman's country of origin. During the over one hour long dialogue, the former Marine talked about how he was very suspicious of Muslims and how, both in Somalia and in Iraq, he and other Americans who "came to help these two countries had their hands bitten..." He talked about how he did not believe there were any moderate Muslims and how organizations such as CAIR were deliberately silent about condemning terrorism. He also talked about being alarmed by the growing Muslim population in Central Ohio and how they may be hiding a terrorist who has in his possession a "briefcase nuke." He said, "I don't want to see a giant mushroom in Columbus."

This is not without merit, especially in certain localities, as islamic groups such as CAIR, MSA, etc., continue to push for muslim "extra" rights on campuses and in the workplace. Schools such as Cal State Fullerton in California, Boston University, University of Wisconsin-Madison and others are now installing footwashing stations for islamic prayer rituals. Guides on MSA's website describe the best ways to "act in disention," and claims chapters on over 600 campuses.

Arman admits that the original intention of this "neighborly" visit, was to make this two-war veteran a "poster-child" of Islamophobia and publicly to vilify the man by enlisting the help of the local media. The establishment media has been quick to pick up this twisted narrative. Earlier this month, in a front page Columbus Dispatch article on Mr. Arman, Mobin-Uddin cites this incident of confronting a man at his home as evidence of Mr. Arman's "kindness."

Kindness? He might as well have shown up on the Marine's doorstep wearing a suicide vest, as it was an act of intimidation. Nothing else.

Islamists Call For Caliphate & Web Site Posts "How To Kidnap Americans" Guide

CNSNews.com International Editor Patrick Goodenough recently posted an article that should raise a few eyebrows. A recent rally in Indonesia was a calling for the uniting of muslims under a caliphate, or single islamic state. About 80,000 islamists crammed into a sports stadium in the Indonesian capital waving black and white flags chanting "Allah is greater."

Hizb ut-Tahrir (the Party of Liberation) organized the rally and its Indonesian spokesman, Muhammad Ismail Yusanto said, the group rejects democracy, because sovereignty is in the hands of Allah, not the people. The transnational Sunni group that says it shuns violence, but has been banned in Germany, Russia and parts of the Middle East and Central Asia. Even Britain planned to ban them after the 2005 bombings. But that has yet to happen.

In an opinion survey earlier this year of attitudes in four key Muslim countries – Egypt, Morocco, Pakistan and Indonesia – University of Maryland pollsters found 36 percent of respondents "strongly" in favor of "unify[ing] all Islamic countries into a single Islamic state or Caliphate." The survey also reveals that a goodly number of muslims simply don't like America, Americans, or American presence in the middle east. Although, with as jaded as the brain washing they are subjected to by their radical imams, this is completely understandable.

Heritage Foundation scholar Ariel Cohen has described it (Hizb ut-Tahrir) as "a clandestine, cadre-operated, radical islamist political organization" that is "transnational, secretive, and extremist in its anti-Americanism." "[Hizb ut-Tahrir] is not a terrorist organization, but it can usefully be thought of as a conveyor belt for terrorists," Zeyno Baran, director of the Center for Eurasian Policy at the Hudson Institute, wrote in 2005. "It indoctrinates individuals with radical ideology, priming them for recruitment by more extreme organizations where they can take part in actual operations."

Although Cohen describes the group as not being very significant in Indonesia, an article on the MEMRI.org web page describes something that could potentially "Make" them significant. As Indonesian locales are tourist stops for many Americans, Australians and the like, MEMRI.org reports a jihadist website, http://www.alhesbah.org/ has recently posted a Kidnapping guide.

The website is hosted by RealWebHost in Texas, here in the U.S., and is one of the most frequented jihadist forums on the Internet.

On the site was posted an anonymously written document from 2003 titled "The Excellent Summary of the Rules of the Art of Kidnapping Americans." The 60-page guide describes each stage of the kidnapping, explaining how to select the target and then how to follow him, seize him, transport him to a safe location, and hold him there, as well as how to conduct negotiations. The guide also explains how to execute the hostage should negotiations fail.

This does not fit well into the tourist industry of Indonesia should American business executives, civilians, military personnel on leave, etc., start disappearing off the Indonesian map. We wouldn't want to discriminate against any ones beliefs, or right to freedom of speech, but since the hosting site IS here in America, and kidnapping is a FEDERAL OFFENSE, perhaps someone should be having a chat with the RealWebHost group.

A Tidal - Rove Of Defamations

Rove has resigned his position in the White House. This isn't new news to anyone now. But boy-o-boy, when the media sinks its teeth into something "they" believe vitally important, they hold on like a rabid pit bull don't they?

Let us now journey through some of the more "vital" news they had for us about Rove that they truly believed was necessary for us to know:

We'll start with Chris Matthew's Hardball on MS(LSD)NBC. Matthews kicked off his Monday night report with labeling Rove as a 'bum' that divided the nation, and wondered if the President would be able to think without the man considered to be his brain. Matthews went on to blame Rove for allowing New Orleans to drop into the sea. Funny how besides the media, the only other one who was blaming the President or anyone else in the administration for New Orleans was Blanco. Nutty Naggin was at least smart enough to bail off that ship before it sank. But Matthews wasn't done there. He wondered if the only way we'd get the truth out of Rove is if we "paid for it on his (Rove's) lecture circuit," and decreed that the President practically "knighted" Rove during his send-off speech.

Nice going Chris. Don't bother wearing your true feelings (which have no place in professional journalism to begin with) on your sleeve. We get the idea.

Not to be outdone, ABC, CBS and NBC all carried a couple segments deriding Rove's exploits. ABC's David Wright kicked off this menage a trois by blaming Rove for not only the 'Swift Boat' ads, but for leaking Vallerie Plame's name to the media and for accusing democrats of, essentially offering aide and comfort to the enemy. I believe the actual offer was therapy and understanding to the attackers. All this was followed up shortly thereafter by Charles Gibson who showcased Kerry's berating Rove for orchestrating a political strategy 'that promised to unite Americans but instead left us more divided than [ever] before. CBS's attempt at a report featured Jim Axelrod pontificating about Rove's "surviving five grand jury appearances without being indicted." He also mentioned Rove losing tenure after painting the democrats as weak on terror and the Iraq war backfiring. NBC's Kelly O'Donnell also brought up the enraging of democrats by Rove's comments about "weakness after 9/11."

Unfortunately, none of them mentioned that the swift boat thing was created by Vietnam vets and funded by groups that were not within Rove's control. A goodly portion of it was funded by Texas billionaire Boone Pickens matter of factly. But THAT'S apparently not important. It also wasn't important for the media to report on the issue of while Rove may have mentioned Plame's employer to reporters, it was Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage's leak to columnist Robert Novak which got her name and CIA employment into the news media. Way to go you uber-pro journalists. There's no need to read transcripts of those grand jury testimonies.

With more fantastic name calling from MS(LSD)NBC on Monday night, Live with Dan Abrams titled Rove as the Constitutional Crippler. Abrams came up with this based on Rove accusing judges of "bending the law" while Rove, was doing much the same. One of Abrams guests on the show, talk show host Michael Reagan ended up stealing the show by pretty much shooting down just about everything Abrams could come up with. Ouch, might wanna rethink the "live" part next time Dan. You might not look like an idiot on national TV.

All in all, it was a pretty fun time out there in, what Dan Rather once called a "magical mystical land full of journalistic knights."

Students Are Speaking Out: WE WANT OUR FIREARMS!

Every time we have some horrific incident where numerous individuals are shot, the liberal crowd is hot on the news wagons heels calling for more gun control. In example, the very next day after the Virginia Tech shootings, The Governor himself had to make a news statement that he had absolutely no interest in entertaining debate over gun control, especially so soon after the incident.

Not content to wait for the politicians to get off their butt's and get something done about campus safety across the nation, STUDENTS themselves are stepping up to the political plate calling for rights to carry, ON CAMPUS. As if those of us with any mental capacities didn't see this coming. And I applaud every one of those students. Democracy isn't completely dead yet.

There is even a web page for those students who are looking for a centralized location to get information about CCW laws in their state. Students for Concealed Carry on Campus has links to each states laws, how to contact their representatives regarding the issue, and even provides updates about where classes are being offered for free or little expense.

SCCC was founded, as listed on their ABOUT page, by Chris Brown because, "As a college student and a concealed handgun licence holder, when I step onto campus I am left unable to defend myself. My state allows me to carry a handgun in public, but there is some imaginary line drawn around college campuses for silly reasons. And those silly reasons are getting people killed, raped and robbed."

I don't know how many times I'm going to have to mention this, but I'll keep saying it till it finally sinks in. More legal carry firearms = less violent crime. This is fact. This is NOT debatable. Washington D.C. has a firearms ban in city limits. Also has the HIGHEST violent crime rate in the nation. Some cities in Georgia implemented a mandatory firearms OWNERSHIP law. Not that it's actually enforced. But they saw an instant and dramatic REDUCTION in crime.

Drugs, Illegals and..... Terrorists?

An August 8, 2007 article by Sara A. Carter in the Washington Times brings yet another wave of funding operations to our friendly neighborhood home grown and imported terrorists. Drug trafficking.

That's right. According to a DEA report, islamic extremists embedded in the United States — posing as Hispanic nationals — are partnering with violent Mexican drug gangs to finance terror networks in the Middle East.

This makes quite a bit of sense actually when you think about it. Here we have a pretty porous southern border with masses of illegals flooding in, many toting several pounds of narcotics, or whatever they may be paid to transport, through very sophisticated trafficking routes, and no one even bats an eye at it.

The 2005 report outlines an ongoing scheme in which multiple Middle Eastern drug-trafficking and terrorist cells operating in the U.S. fund terror networks overseas, aided by established Mexican cartels.

The DEA report also brings up a dreaded thought, saying, "It is very likely that any future 'September 11th' type of terrorist event in the United States may be facilitated, wittingly or unwittingly, by drug traffickers operating on both sides of the United States-Mexico border."

Rep. Ed Royce of California, ranking Republican on the House Foreign Affairs terrorism and nonproliferation subcommittee, said the DEA document substantiates information that his committee has been given in the past year. "Hearings I held in Laredo [Texas] last year and this DEA report show that our southern border is a terrorist risk," Mr. Royce said. "Law enforcement has warned that people from Arab countries have crossed the border and adopted Hispanic surnames. The drug cartels have highly sophisticated smuggling and money-laundering networks, which terrorists could access."

El Paso, Texas, law-enforcement has documented the influx of "approximately 20 Arab persons a week utilizing the Travis County Court in Austin to change their names and driver's licenses from Arabic to Hispanic surnames."

Think of all the "Tax-payer" money going to terrorists this way in the form of government handouts for minorities. Can we say "MASS DEPORTATION" now? Or at least serious attrition through enforcement. And I mean SERIOUS ATTRITION.

Bad News For CAIR: Their Ties Are Being Exposed

Not that it is really shocking news or anything, as we all pretty much "know" that CAIR is a front for terrorist funding and activities.

Two recent e-letters from the American Congress for Truth expose alot more about this than our "fair and balanced" media are willing to let us know about. I'm beginning to think that the media WANTS something bad to happen here in America. Both for the sensationalism that can be attained in the reporting, and to use as a "See, we told you the Republicans weren't doing the job," factor.

Recently in Dallas, FBI Agent Lara Burns reported before the jury in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was listed as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood's(See my Brotherhood post HERE,) Palestine Committee, right alongside HLF, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), and the United Association for Studies and Research (UASR). Agent Lara Burns further testified that CAIR received money from HLF — a claim that Nihad Awad blatantly denied in a congressional testimony in September of 2003.

Burns also said that both Omar Ahmed and Nihad Awad, CAIR co-founders who today serve as CAIR's chairman emeritus and executive director, respectively, were also listed as individual members the Brotherhood's Palestine Committee in America.

Government testimony regarding the role of CAIR reflects the prosecution's attempt to prove that the HAMAS network in America was established through the Palestine Committee, or what the indictment called "a sub-group of active Muslim Brotherhood members of Palestinian origin." The leader of this Committee was Musa Abu Marzook, a Specially Designated Terrorist since 1995, and Hamas' current Deputy Political Bureau Chief. Through this committee, a number of organizations were established to promote HAMAS politically and financially, including HLF, IAP and UASR.

The trial for the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) continues. One exhibit – the Palestine Committee’s 1991 bylaws - reveals a web of key organizations tied to the Committee that were tasked with promoting HAMAS’ agenda, each in a particular field. Six groups were listed, the most prominent being HLF, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), and the United Association for Studies and Research (UASR).

What has so far gone unnoticed, though, is one last organization on this list that the Committee hoped to establish in the future. As stated in the bylaws, this organization would handle “issues relating to political work and foreign relations”:

• It is a committee which operates through the Association [IAP] for now. It is hoped that it will become an official organization for political work and its headquarters will be in Washington, God’s willing. It represents the political aspect to support the cause politically on the American front.

An organization headquartered in Washington, DC, tasked with political activism, born out of the IAP? Maybe a vague reference at first glance, but growing evidence points to the identity of the mystery organization listed in the bylaws as the youngest in the family of HAMAS front groups founded on American soil.

Fast forward to July 30, 1994, just weeks after the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) was founded. A Palestine Committee meeting agenda lists several issues to be discussed, including a review of the reports of the “working organizations.” Listed among these organizations right beside HLF, IAP, and UASR – all members of the Palestine Committee as listed in the bylaws – is the word “CAIR."

The same CAIR that is headquartered in Washington, and whose co-founders - executive director Nihad Awad and chairman emeritus Omar Ahmad - served as president and public relations director, respectively, of the IAP.

A pretty daunting display of information that the media has, and yet, refuses to inform the public about. I think that says alot about our, once again, "fair and balanced" media and their own agendas.

More GAY Agenda: S.D. Firefighters Forced To Participate In Gay Parade

In a never ending barrage produced by a self induced minority population, the "Gay Agenda" pushes forward yet again. This time it will cost them, dearly.

San Diego recently declared July as Gay/Lesbian/Transgender/Bisexual month, with the Gay Pride parade following shortly there after. People who know of this parade by any means, know exactly what happens at these gatherings. Of which, I will spare you the vulgar details.

But apparently having this type of grotesque acting out of people who chose to live this way, just isn't enough. They want everyone to accept this type of behavior. They want this so badly, that persons in positions of authority who also participate, have begun overstepping their boundaries and forcing the unwilling to participate, usually at the threat of disciplinary action.

This has become blatantly apparent with a law suit filed by four San Diego Firefighters. On July 21st, S.D. fire chief Tracy Jarman — an open lesbian, ordered Fire Capt. John Ghiotto, engineer Jason Hewitt and firefighters Chad Allison and Alex Kane to suit up in their uniforms and drive a firetruck in the parade.

The four described the humiliating event. Over the course of three hours, they heard statements such as, "show me your hose," "you can put out my fire," "you're making me hot," "give me mouth-to-mouth," "you look hungry, why don't you have a twinkie (from a man wearing a "Girth and Mirth" t-shirt)," and "blow my hose." When they refused to respond to the crowd, some in the crowd turned hostile and started shouting, "F--- you firemen" and others began "flipping them off."

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center added, “These firefighters dedicated their lives to save the lives of others. They did not sign on to become unwilling props to a controversial political and social agenda.”

Jarman, the city fire chief, insisted when she was appointed that her homosexuality had never been an issue at the department. But Thompson maintained the firefighters' ordeal was "another example of how radical homosexual activists in positions of authority force their agenda on unwilling citizens."

Right, her homo-status WASN'T an issue. That's how she got the job. Thanks a million EEOC.

Matt Barber, Policy Director for Cultural Issues with Concerned Women for America (CWA), said, “This is an egregious violation of these four public servants’ civil rights. Through their actions, the city of San Diego and Fire Chief Jarman have subjected these men to sexual harassment of the worst kind and violated their constitutional rights. To say that this parade was sexually charged is an understatement. This and other ‘gay pride’ events are simply pagan celebrations of hedonism and sexual deviancy. This is just another example of tyranny of the ‘gay’ minority. It raises questions relative to Fire Chief Jarman’s suitability for the job. If she does not immediately cease her established activism in the workplace relative to her chosen lifestyle, and demonstrate that she can properly serve all her employees and all the citizens of San Diego, she should either resign or be fired.”

I vote for FIRED! Get the hag outta there and put someone in who is there to do the job, not see how much she can cost the city in law suits for her own stupidity.

Another Slap In The Face For Anti-War Activists: NYTimes / Brookings Op-Ed

One would be led to believe it's possible for a politician who originally opposed the war to start supporting it. A person may even, by a far stretch believe that the media in America might actually start making an occasional realistic report on the situation in Iraq. But NO ONE would have ever believed that two of the biggest noise makers about the Iraq war would actually give a positive report about it.

But believe it or not, the New York Times actually published an Op-Ed from two people at the Brookings Institute that report positive progress in Iraq. And not just a passing "eh, it's a lil' better," kind of report. More of a "there is enough good happening on the battlefields of Iraq today that Congress should plan on sustaining the effort at least into 2008." That's a direct quote from the op-ed.

The piece was penned by MICHAEL E. O’HANLON and KENNETH M. POLLACK (no friends of the President or the Iraq war) for the Times on July 30, 2007. In it, O'Hanlon and Pollack describe such increases in security for some of the worst spots in Iraq have improved to the point, that they were walking the streets WITHOUT body armor now. Mention of how, when you first get past the heat upon arriving in Iraq, the first thing you notice is the incredibly high morale of our troops, and they see real results.

Civilian fatality rates are down roughly a third since the surge began. Streets slowly coming back to life with stores and shoppers. The northern cities of Tal Afar and Mosul where American troop levels in both cities now number only in the hundreds because the Iraqis have stepped up to the plate. Reliable police officers man the checkpoints in the cities, while Iraqi Army troops cover the countryside.

A major factor in the sudden change in American fortunes has been the outpouring of popular animus against Al Qaeda and other Salafist groups. These groups have tried to impose Shariah law, brutalized average Iraqis to keep them in line, killed important local leaders and seized young women to marry off to their loyalists. The result has been that in the last six months Iraqis have begun to turn on the extremists and turn to the Americans for security and help.

Embedded Provincial Reconstruction Teams are working. Wherever we found a fully staffed team, we also found local Iraqi leaders and businessmen cooperating with it to revive the local economy and build new political structures.

O'Hanlon and Pollack also stated that there is still much much more to be done in Iraq, but as quoted above, "there is enough good happening on the battlefields of Iraq today that Congress should plan on sustaining the effort at least into 2008."

Let's give our soldiers and Marines that opportunity.

Mexico Gets Upset: Open Border Proponents Getting Nervous

Just recently, the mexican government with support from environmentalist freaks here in the U.S., filed a complaint at the Hague regarding the proposed border fence America. The report claims that, "the border fence will threaten the environment." Really? Threaten the environment? Now THAT'S a new twist.

Sarcasm aside, this is about the dumbest thing a person could say, and is pretty much the apex of hypocrisy if I do say so myself. And I do say so.

Illegal aliens making the trek from one of the most polluted nations on earth, (mexico) have dumped over 25 million pounds of trash at border areas during their crossing. Clean-up costs for this will total well over tens of millions of dollars. Of which, mexico has not offered to assist with paying for. To date, around 1% of that 25 million pounds has been cleaned up by the Bureau of Land Management.

Rep. Brian Bilbray of San Diego even mentioned "They've been polluting our shores for over 50 years with sewage.. maybe we should close our port of entry (San Diego) for every day they pollute our beaches and perhaps then they'll be sensitised about how they're impacting the environment." No kidding. Tell it like it is Brian.

Those who oppose the border fence jumped on the "environmental band-wagon" for one reason. Construction of the fence has resumed, and they are WORRIED! Of the 854 miles of fence authorized to be built last year, a mere 13 miles has actually been built. And none of those 13 miles is they Double-fence variety that's been stipulated in the Secure Fence Act. But the construction has resumed in the San Diego Areas.

Something else that's giving the open-borders crowd the "willies" is that Secretary Chertoff has begun to publicly discuss the Texas fence. Now we're getting somewhere. It's about time America began to actually protect itself from "foreign" invaders.

This Is What Islam Has Planned For Your Kids: The Islam Project

The Saudi-funded injections into the American Educational system through Title VI essentially are designed to create madrassa's out of our public schools. Originally developed for the middle and high schools, and eventually to be instituted throughout the elementary grades, "The Islam Project" is designed to perform one series of actions. Provide false, or widely inaccurate information about the islamic faith as related to the world, force acceptance of the islamic faith, and eventually, conversion.

The recent advancements by the MSA (Muslim Students' Association) to have foot-washing stations installed in colleges and universities throughout America, as well as prayer rooms, extra recesses for prayer, insisting that non-muslim students adhere to muslim traditions when in or near these areas, and even special housing, have even managed to garner the attentions of the ACLU. "If you start carving out time in the school day that you would not do but for the need to let students pray, then it begins to look like what you're trying to do is to assist religion," says David Blair-Loy, legal director for the ACLU in San Diego. And we all know how much the ACLU likes "prayer in schools."

A few of the College/University campuses that have already bowed to islam are Boston University, Cal-State Fullerton, University of Wisconsin-Madison and Washington University of St. Louis. All of which either have, or are planning the building of foot washing stations. At tax payers expense. One Elementary school that made the news was Carver Elementary in California (Ca., shocked?) A substitute teacher filed a complaint that a student aide was leading students in islamic prayer. The San Diego School board declared it was wrong for the aide to do so, but continues to maintain a special, extra recess, for muslim students to pray.

While disturbing, those above listed incidents are actually trivial when compared with some of the itinerary listed on The Islam Projects own web page which include, but are not limited to the following;

• Preparing and evaluating content on islam and muslims. So as to properly speak about the islamic faith. Notice there is NO negative reflections on the linked page for this, even though history as already taught us otherwise.
• Biographical Sketch of Muhammad’s Life, which does mention that he had multiple wives, but more or less exactly fails to bring up that one was only 9 years old when he consummated the marriage.
• Vocabulary Activities that miss key words in islam such as taqiyya - a religious doctrine that permits a faithful muslim to conceal his true beliefs during jihad. That is, to lie. Or Dhimmi which essentially is a second class citizen to muslims.
• Map activities that outline the Crusades as a series of “holy wars” aimed at gaining control of Jerusalem from the muslim Arabs and Seljuk Turks, and mentions nothing of its true nature which was originally a cry for help from Eastern Orthodox Byzantine Empire. Essentially, to drive the muslims BACK into the Middle East after islam had already conquered half of Europe.

The mass of information being produced by groups such as CIE (Council on Islamic Education,) and cheif participants Susan L. Douglass who is the Principal Researcher and Editor and Nadia Pervez - Curriculum Specialist, to indoctrinate your kids is astounding. There is so much more that you MUST read on the Islam Projects website to fully understand just how deep this runs.

Parents in public schools, and some private schools. You MUST demand to know exactly what is in your childs class curriculums. Learning plans, films, everything. If you find that your children are potentially being subjected to this blatant brain washing, contact your legislators, the school boards, fellow parents. Make your disapproval known and demand something be done.

More 'Stupid' Barrage: Lib-Media Continues Calls For More Taxes

The last several days of "stuck-on-stupid" by the media continues into this week as pretty much every major outlet had calls for more taxes to pay for infrastructure repair. Multiple poor assumptions were made that the Iraq war was to blame, and the dogma of no-new-taxes by Conservatives needed to stop. A reference was even made that the victims in the recent bridge collapse should be seen as "casualties of war," due to the War spending.

Kicking of this misguided escapade is veteran Des Moines Register political reporter and current columnist David Yepsen who, during the Republican debate, pressed the candidates about raising federal fuel taxes to pay for repair to bridges and roads. He even commented that Minnesota, Governor Pawlenty, who vetoed an increase in his state gas tax, said now he may consider one. Guiliani brought up that Yepsen's formulation was from an ideally Liberal angle suggesting a, "I need money, I raise taxes," presumption. Yepsen continued to press, then asking "Then what are you going to cut, sir? What do you cut?"

Here's an idea, how about the over $200 million a year that goes to 'Planned Genocide'. There's a nice chunk of change that could be put to better use. How about the "billions" that go out each year in foreign aid to countries that sit back and badmouth us? Shall we also mention the millions of illegals getting 'hand-outs' from the government at tax-payers expense as well as paying for their medical expenses?

Next up is CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson that somehow managed to contract the dreaded "uber-tard" disease prior to her broadcast. She deduced that federal and state governments are cash-starved by relying on a whole ONE experts view, Democratic Congressman Jim Oberstar who by the way is Chairman of the very committee which funnels the pork spending. Oberstar said, "both Congress and the White House have traditionally had trouble making the tough decision to collect and spend more tax dollars on infrastructure."

Americans probably WOULDN'T have such a big problem with paying more taxes if they knew their money was ACTUALLY GOING to what it was intended for. Take California's Prop-99, the tobacco tax initiative for example. That created the biggest bureaucracy ever. It was intended to cover medical costs of the poor and indigent. But when it's being used to "research" if teen trouble makers smoke, or if cigarettes make your teeth turn yellow, we have a bit of mis-spending here. This is what over $500 million a year is going to folks.

Continuing the stuck on stupid theme is Time magazine veteran Margaret Carlson, who now is with both with Bloomberg News and The Week magazine. Carlson reached waaaaaayyy back into left field for a ten year old poll, back when Democrat Ed Rendell was Mayor of Philadelphia. The poll from yester-decade, cited almost 70% of respondents would pay more in taxes to actually know that they could cross the 14th Street bridge safely. She then noted there's no "will" to do it when your spending over $4,000 a minute in Iraq, and a "but can you really get it done when there's, by the way, very little money left?"

Uh, refer to aforementioned BULLS%$T spending that could be cut.

Rounding off today's less than intelligent ideals is Al-Jazeera's closest running mate in TV ratings, Keith Olbermann. And of course, Keith isn't one to use the best of judgmental prudence in balancing his show, so he has not only Air America's Rachel Maddow (snickers) on the show, but also quoted Minnesota Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar and New York Democratic Congresswoman Louise Slaughter. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. No wonder this guy can't get any ratings. Olbermann's diatribe with Maddow was centered entirely around charges that the "endless war and endless spending" had "crippled our ability to repair or just check our infrastructure. Then tossed in quotes from Klobuchar of "messed up priorities" and Slaughter's labeling of bridge collapse victims as "almost victims of war" because "perpetual war depletes the funds available to maintain our infrastructure."

I guess they didn't read the report either in the Wall Street Journal Editorial that infrastructure is paid for by federal and state FUEL taxes. Taxes which, prior to the Oakland Bay bridge collapse back in '89, had ALREADY been raised over 30% prior to that collapse.

We DON'T need to raise taxes. We need to CUT the pork! We need to cut funding crap-bureaucracy and unnecessary spending. Cut! Cut! Cut!

By the way, did I mention we need to CUT spending?

American Public Being Forced To Accept Islamic Law: Starting In Our Schools

In an article written by Oren Dorell for USAToday and forwarded in e-letter by the American Congress for Truth, Dorell describes how the enactments of special privileges for muslims is showing its true colors. And believe it or not, these privileges even "perked-up" the ears of the ACLU, if you can believe that.

Muslims in many public schools are being granted special prayer times and rooms, as well as ritual foot-washing locations. These activities are sparking heated debates over whether islam is being given preferential treatment compared to other religions.

Critics of these privileges see this as nothing more than attempting to force public acceptance, leading into conformity with islamic law.

An example of this is, at George Mason University, non-Muslim students were asked to observe Muslim rules in the prayer area, such as keeping men on one side and women on the other and removing their shoes, according to Broadside, the school newspaper. Alissa Karton, assistant to the vice president for student life, said the article prompted the school to order students to roll up prayer rugs when not in use and move the dividers. Good move. As this was just a few steps from becoming a madrassa.

Advocates of this special treatment which include, (and should be no shock to anyone,) the Muslim Public Affairs Council and the Muslim Students' Association which has formed a Muslim Accommodations Task Force to push for these forms of amenities, say the accommodations are legal.

Legal my ass. When you begin to promote one religion over another, regardless of which religion, you've violated that "separation" barrier. An example is in San Diego. A substitute teacher at Carver Elementary School alleged that teachers were indoctrinating students into Islam. The San Diego Unified School District determined that a teacher's aide was wrong to lead Muslim students in prayer. Carver still has a special recess to allow 100 Muslim students to pray.

BINGO! "If you start carving out time in the school day that you would not do but for the need to let students pray, then it begins to look like what you're trying to do is to assist religion," says David Blair-Loy, legal director for the ACLU in San Diego. Now, I'm not a fan of the ACLU, as anyone who regularly reads my posts will tell you, but if you've managed to garner their attention when it comes to religion, somethings up.

Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel at the Thomas More Law Center, an advocacy group for Christians said, "What you're going to see out there is more of these kinds of cases as the Muslim community tests how far it can go in the public school system," he says. "If this can happen for Muslims, it can happen for Christians and other religions."

Not that the ACLU would EVER, and I mean a big EVER, allow Christians a special prayer time or location in public schools, so they best get hopping on this.

The Hypocrisy of Hypocrisy: "Generation Chicken Hawk" Tops Them All

One of many "new movements" that I see those on the left repeating over and over, like the never ceasing beat of a broken drum, is to nit-pick continually at anything that doesn't fit into the liberal agendas of the day. We see over and over on the Communist News Network and other outlets, how such-and-such poll shows a continual decline in support of the war in Iraq, yet they immediately flip the moment polls don't support their ideologies and warn us against putting too much confidence in polls when making political decisions.

So, I think it's fair and ethical for me to return the favor on occassion. Don't you agree? Or like the proposed "fairness doctrine," it's only fair when it supports one side?

Keeping in stride with this kind of nonsense, merely five hours apart on Sunday night (July 29th) CNN aired lengthy segments on a lefty's Web video attack on College Republicans titled "Generation Chicken Hawk," for supporting the Iraq war while they fail to serve in the armed forces. Let's examine that shall we? College STUDENTS, that support the war, are hypocritical, for not rushing to join the armed forces themselves? Am I the only one who sees the idiocy in this?

Apparently not as the Media Research Center noted, CNN failed to properly label Max Blumenthal's (the web-vid creator) ideology or far-left credentials. Also, Matthew Balan noted in a posting on NewsBusters blog, that Blumenthal has written for The Nation magazine and for Media Matters for America. Doesn't get to much further left than that. Not to mention that Blumenthal posted his vid on the Huffington Post, which actually is one of those that is further left than the aforementioned.

So, Blumenthal thinks these College Republican STUDENTS are hypocrites. But I suppose he doesn't think it's hypocritical that a mass of Democrats "Support the troops, but not the war?" Where's the media-double-standard Police when you need them, since this is bias at its best. In response, I'd like to see all those gun control advocates get up off their butts and join the police forces of America. Why not! You don't want us to be able to "keep and bear.." like the AMERICAN Constitution says we can, so go protect us.

In the end, this "Farenheit 9/11-esque" vid is intended for just one purpose, a political hit piece to try and stack more support against the Republicans.

Muslim Brotherhood "Project": Already Working In Europe

The American Congress for Truth website now has a BLOG. In a recent e-letter from ACT, is an article written by Patrick Poole for the FrontPageMagazine site titled, The Muslim Brotherhood “Project.”

This is an article that everyone should read if they REALLY want an understanding to what is going on in Europe, and already begun here in America. In it Poole outlines in great detail, an over two DECADE old document recovered by Swiss authorities during a raid in November 2001, two months after 9/11.

The Document, known in Counter Terrorism circles as, The Project, is a plan developed by the oldest Islamist organization with one of the most extensive terror networks in the world to launch a program of “cultural invasion” and eventual conquest of the West. Much of its contents can already be seeing being played out in Europe. Some of which have already begun happening here in America.

The information in this document has remained pretty obscure until a book published in October 2005 in France, La conquête de l’Occident: Le projet secret des Islamistes (The Conquest of the West: The Islamists’ Secret Project) was released by an Swiss journalist, Sylvain Besson of Le Temps.

For those still caught up in the belief that Islam is a peaceful religion, the Creedo of the muslim brotherhood, founded by Hasan al-Banna in 1928 is: “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”

In the documents seized during the aforementioned raid was a 14-page plan written in Arabic and dated December 1, 1982, which outlines a 12-point strategy to “establish an Islamic government on earth.”

Just a few of the key points revealed in the document that YOU WILL read about when you go to the English translated "Project" link are as follows;

• Infiltrating and taking over existing Muslim organizations to realign them towards the Muslim Brotherhood’s collective goals. (Like the BBC documentary about radical mosques in England?)
• Using deception to mask the intended goals of Islamist actions. (Like a taqiyya - a religious doctrine that permits a faithful Muslim to conceal his true beliefs during jihad. That is, to lie.)
• Cultivating an Islamist intellectual community, including the establishment of think-tanks and advocacy groups, and publishing “academic” studies, to legitimize Islamist positions and to chronicle the history of Islamist movements.
• Involving ideologically committed Muslims in democratically-elected institutions on all levels in the West, including government, NGOs, private organizations and labor unions. (Such as Government officials being sworn in on a qur'an in stead of the Bible?)
• Instrumentally using existing Western institutions until they can be converted and put into service of Islam. (Foot washing stations in schools anyone?)
• Inflaming violence and keeping Muslims living in the West “in a jihad frame of mind.”

And this is just the SHORT list. As you read through it, I'm sure a few headlines may have pooped into the forefront of your mind. Or did you miss the 100's of muslim taxi drivers refusing to drive people with alcohol or guide dogs? Did you miss the riotous incitements over some cheesy cartoons? Did you not get a chance to read about a rapidly growing number of Colleges and Universities installing foot washing facilities to accommodate their muslim students, as well as providing separated living quarters for muslims? All at taxpayers expense of course.

It's the publics responsibility to climb all over their elected representatives asses now that the cat is out of the bag, and make them get moving on this info. Even though I'm no big fan of France, I do have to give them some credit. It finally sunk through their croissant-packed skulls that Islam is surging dangerously through their country, and they have begun cracking down on the problem.

Before we fall into that perilous chasm, let's stop the movements NOW.

Here's A New Spin: Tax Cuts Are Responsible For Infrastructure Collapses?

In a never ending effort to make themselves look stupid, the media needs to really step back and take a goooooood look at what really might be behind the malfunction of a building or bridge. The old adage of "think before you speak," is probably the best advice one can take in these matters. Perhaps then, their ratings wouldn't be so horrible that they have to pull a "Dan Rather" and make crap up to get viewers.

An example of this is back in '89. San Fransisco had a good shaker that collapsed part of the Oakland Bay Bridge and a couple hundred people lost their lives. The aftershocks hadn't even ceased when Ted Koppel on the October 18 Nightline was blaming Prop.13's tax cut as the reason for the collapse. Wow, what a leap of faith that was. I guess good 'ol Teddy didn't bother to check that one out before opening the hole under his nose. That, or he knew and was praying that no one else knew that infrastructure is paid for by STATE AND FEDERAL FUEL TAXES, both which had been RAISED by over 30% prior to this incident. Nice going Ted.

The Wall Street Journal DID take the time to check itself before saying anything. An October 24th editorial confirmed that, "California's roads and bridges aren't funded by property taxes but by state and federal gasoline taxes. Both have been raised at least 30 percent in recent years, even while the price of gasoline has fallen. Dragging Prop. 13 into this story is a pretty long stretch."

Not to be outdone when a chance to be stupid presents itself, there's Jack Cafferty to the un-rescue! With the caption "Looking For Victims, Answers" on screen, Cafferty wasted no time in attempting to blame the War in Iraq as the ultimate cause for the Minnesota bridge collapse. On the Cafferty File, which to me is a bit more well known as the "Laugh-erty Pile," Jack jumped right in with both feet in posing, "The total outlay for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, so far, over $600 billion. Think for a minute about what we could do with that money here at home, not only to improve our own infrastructure, but for other domestic needs that go wanting. Here's the question: In light of the Minnesota bridge collapse, how could the U.S. better spend the $2 billion a week that we're pouring into Iraq here at home?"

Cafferty highlighted a few e-mails that segment as "ire-whips," such as how the $200 billion spent on infrastructure is only a "drop in the bucket," compared to the $600billion spent on Iraq, and reviving the Roosevelt's National Recovery Act. But the fact that this Koppel-esk leap of faith, leaves something to be desired from Dear 'ol Jack.

Lastly, my "Sweetheart of Stupidity," Katie Couric. I just love this woman. Her unwavering ability to come up with things of the most inane just amazes me. Neglecting any thought about cutting spending anywhere within the federal budget, for instance some of the soaring entitlement spending, CBS's Katie Couric on Thursday night wondered if taxpayers are "ready to spend" the "trillions" needed to repair the nation's infrastructure. Way to go Katie. While your at it, let's also skip the retirement benefits to illegals if they had been granted amnesty that would total over $2.6 trillion.

But we all know what they really want, MORE TAXES and BIGGER GOVERNMENT. That seems to be the mating call drum beat answer for these folks. Wouldn't want to start by cutting spending on all the excess crap that wastes millions/billions a year. Nope, gotta add more taxes.
