Mandatory Drug Testing For Welfare Checks? Sounds Good To Me

This is incredible, amazing even, in it's own right. This E-mail has instantly shot to the near-top, if not THE top of my "all time favorite E-mails" list. It's hard to believe that up to this time, something this amazingly simple HAS NOT been implemented in EVERY state.

After you read this, I'm sure you will agree. Unless of course, your some strung out on heroin, crack junkied, pot-head, with the standard negative teeth-to-tattoo ratio. Then I can see why you wouldn't like an idea like this to hit mainstream America.

Here's the E-mail's full text. Short, sweet, and very, very, VERY, well amazing:

I have a question for all 50 states.

Like a lot of folks , I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as they see fit. In order for me to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a urine test, which I have no problem with.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sit on their ass. Could you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check.

Doesn't this make the most sense you've ever heard? I would definitely be on board for a Bill like this hitting the floors of our Legislators.

Now for the actual discussion of this. What drawbacks would there be if a bill like this were ever implemented? Aside from the testing companies working some serious overtime to keep up with all the people being tested?

Well, there's all the drug dealers that would stand to loose business, thereby putting many of them OUT OF business. That would truly be sad. How could they afford to put 'spinners' on their 24-inch Caddy Escalade wheels? I feel their pain.

It is entirely possible that people might spare a few brain cells, that they otherwise would have lost or damaged. Since those cells have been spared further abuse, they might even be inspired to finish getting that High School Diploma or G.E.D. I suppose, many people may actually live a little longer too.

With all the 'negative' effects I've listed listed thus far, I suppose there's potential for lower crime rates, since a good bit of the population in our jails and prisons are drug related crimes. Both violent and non-violent.

Hmmm... I'm uh, not coming up with much in the way of realistic 'downsides' here. Let's get this on the roll then shall we?

Thanks to Roberta for Forwarding this E-mail to me.

After Ahmadinejad: Where Are The Special Interest Groups?

During a recent Glenn Beck broadcast since the Ahmadinejad visit to Columbia University, Glenn brought up a very interesting point. Something of which is related to my PREVIOUS post. Mr. Beck's question? Where are the special interest groups since the homophobic rantings of Ahmadinejad at both Columbia University, AND the U.N.?

This makes A LOT of sense. When ever a Judeo-Christian organization does anything, groups such as NOW, GLADD, GLESEN, and the rest of the gay community, as well as the ACLU go on a march. A crusade of some sort. Yet, Ahmadinejad PUBLICLY executes gays, and you can hear a pin drop echo from the galleries of these groups.

WHY?

Why is there absolute silence from some of our most outspoken groups, not only in America, but world wide? Aren't they interested in Equality? Diversity? Tolerance? for others of their lifestyle? Glenn answers this himself. "They are nothing but a political machine to help certain politicians get elected." BINGO! We have a winner.

The reality is, these groups that supposedly "care" about their fellow gays and the like, DON'T. The have no interest, let alone "special" interest in the civil rights of their community. There's no money to be made there. There's no political gain to be had there. Why would they care?

Beck had a guest on his show during this broadcast by the name of Arsham Parsi. Mr. Parsi is Iranian. Mr. Parsi is also gay. Mr. Parsi was forced to FLEE from Iran because he is gay. He has since helped to create the Iranian Queer Organization. Mr. Parsi described during this broadcast, the punishments not excluding death, that gays in Iran face. You can watch the video HERE. And a forewarning, there is some graphic pictations in it, including people being hung with truck-cranes.

Now, for those who are reading this that may be regular readers of my postings know that I DO NOT condone the gay lifestyle. As you may have noticed, I personally think the lifestyle is immoral. BUT, you won't find me walking the street with a shotgun blowing off gay peoples heads. In Iran, they DO. They execute gays there, just for being gay.

Special interest groups love to make noise here in America about everything that is wrong. They best start making some noise about these kind of attrocities in other countries, specifically Iran, or they just might prove Mr. Beck, RIGHT.

The Good, The Bad, And The Ahmadinejad: He Got What He Wanted

FREE SPEECH! That's what this is all about, according to academics and a scant few students at Columbia University. To better understand who Ahmadinejad is, and where he comes from is the purpose of this dialogue. Then we can better understand how to interact with him. Personally, I think they just want a better idea of how soon until Sharia Law will sweep through America and they don't have their precious Free Speech any more.

Here's a better idea, how about interact with him with a .45cal pistol to his head. Because that is the ONLY thing he, and others like him will EVER understand. For those who aren't familiar with the term TAQIYYA, it is basically to LIE. The word "al-Taqiyya" literally means: "Concealing or disguising one's beliefs, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies at a time of imminent danger, whether now or later in time, to save oneself from physical and/or mental injury." Could one consider the protests from the thousands outside the auditorium endangering in a way? How about the mediocre grilling by Bollinger? Or perhaps the jeers and heckling from the crowd inside in attendance?

Ahmadinejad thinks so. And now that his visit is over at Columbia, regardless of the outcome we perceived, he is essentially "laughing all the way to the bank." What these free-speechers just don't seem to get, and probably never will, is that they just legitimized Ahmadinejad on the political world stage. Hey, a top Ivy League University in America invited me to dialogue. I am now legitimate. Thanks a whole heck of a lot for that fiasco Columbia.

So let's get this over with. Bollinger was supposedly going to grill Ahmadinejad over many controversial items. I don't recall him bringing up his participation in the 444 day American hostage situation. He did manage to bring up the Holocaust statements that Ahmadinejad has made, like it never happened. But what a commanding bit of closure by Bollinger; "Will you cease this outrage?" Boy, I would be just shakin' in my booties after a statement like that. Bollinger did manage to get one thing right; he doubted Ahmadinejad would show the intellectual courage to answer questions posed to him. And why should he answer them? He had the mic for an hour to spew his hatred. He got what he wanted. To "talk smack about Americans IN America."

Ahmadinejad, during his speech, (better known as the 'Rant against the West,') brought up such lines of crap to include, defending his right to question established Holocaust history, women in Iran enjoy the highest levels of freedom and, In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country. People that are gay, or supporters of the gay lifestyle, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to that last line. There ARE NO GAYS in radical islam. Get it? Under Sharia Law, yours are some of the FIRST heads to come off. Do yourselves a favor. If you wish to continue to live your chosen lifestyle, SUPPORT any and ALL efforts to stop terrorism. Because more than just your lifestyle depends on it. For some more of this cheery fellows comments, go HERE.

Amazingly enough, France isn't buying any of this. Hard to believe France would start stepping up to the plate, but with the difficulties it's currently facing, they have no real options left but to fight. And it will end up being a fight for their very survival. French President Nicolas Sarkozy told the U.N. that allowing a nuclear Iran is an "unacceptable risk to stability in the region and the world," and will call for sanctions stating that; this will only be resolved with a combination of "firmness and dialogue." Well, the dialogue should be short, "Knock the S#!T off!"

Another amazing incident stemming from this forum, is an actual overwhelming bipartisan action by Congress. By a House vote of 397-16, a proposal by Lantos, D-Calif. that's designed to block foreign aide to Iran, specifically its lucrative energy sector, passed. On the Senate side, Joseph Lieberman, I-Conn., and Jon Kyl, R-Ariz got a resolution proposed urging the State Department to label Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization. That's just freaking amazing! I wonder if Brigitte Gabriel's recent venture to Washington had anything to do with getting these folks heads together. But either way, it's nice to see something actually happening FOR the future of America by these folks.

But Iranians aren't happy with what that little latin teddy bear, Hugo Chavez called the "ambush at Columbia." Chavez supposedly phoned Ahmadinejad after the forum to give his support. The Iranian people they interviewed seemed pretty bent about how their president was treated. We don't seem to have that problem here in America. Wherever our President goes he gets treated like crap by the country he's in. So, we really can't share in their sympathy there.

Overall, Ahmadinejad's visit and speech had very little to do with America anyways. His aim was much more global in scope. It didn't matter what we thought of him, he knew we wouldn't be appreciative of what he had to say in the first place. As noted in a TIME article, the protesters got him on TV, and he used the platform to grandstand for the folks back home. And he'll have an even larger global platform during his U.N. visit.

Thanks Columbia University for all you have done for this Nation and the world, by allowing your personal pride overrule common sense, let alone intelligence.

The "Jena 6": What ISN'T Being Said In The Media, But Should Be

It doesn't matter who you are, it doesn't matter what color you are, where you live, what area you grew up in, or even what your occupation is. Someone, somewhere, with a "victim mentality" chip on their shoulder is going to label you a racist at some point in your life. You could be Mother Teressa, Gandhi, or any one of a number of compassionate types, giving of yourself to help the poor and afflicted, selling off everything you own to buy food for these people, and some retard will call you racist because it's not THEIR race that your helping. Yeah, people are really that stupid.

I suppose your occupation and ethnicity will factor into how often and soon in life you'll be targeted. I guess being a white police officer would put a person high on the "You're just doing this to me 'cause I'm.. (insert ethnicity here, [black, hispanic, asian, etc,])" list.

Personally, I'm under the belief that this whole thing with trying to make everyone equal is what is causing the problem. We ARE different from one another. Cultural backgrounds of one ethnicity ARE different from one another. Men ARE different than women, (of which I'm very grateful, being a straight guy and all.) I think we would be a lot better off if we actually embraced our diffrences, and used what we have to work out our problems with one another.

But all this never makes it into the media today. Shock and amazement I know, but a lot that should be said, DOESN'T. The Jena-6 thing is a prime example. And no one so far has spoken to this theme better that I have found, than Jason Whitlock.

Mr. Whitlock is the sports columnist for the Kansas City Star, who labeled Sharpton and Jackson terrorists during the Imus controversy. And he was right. If there were any couple of people to be held the most accountable for any oppression that Black ethnic groups face these days, it's Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

From the article by Mr. Whitlock; Jesse Jackson compared Thursday’s rallies in Jena to the protests and marches that used to take place in cities like Selma, Ala., in the 1960s. Al Sharpton claimed Thursday’s peaceful demonstrations were to highlight racial inequities in the criminal justice system. Jesse and Al, as they’re prone to do, served a kernel of truth stacked on a mountain of lies. There are undeniable racial and economic inequities in our criminal justice system, and from afar the “Jena Six” rallies certainly looked and felt like the righteous protests of the 1960s. But the reality is Thursday’s protests are just another sign that we remain deeply locked in denial about the path we need to travel today for true American liberation, equality and power in the new millennium.

How true this is. Mr. Whitlock went on to describe the "lack" of care and compassion that SHOULD have been put forth to kids like Mychal Bell BEFORE this happened, instead of after he was imprisoned. Because of this incident, Bell lost a Division I football scholarship and nine months of his life when he and five other student athletes brutally attacked a white student. Where was the guidance for these kids before they did this?

Mr. Whitlock listed a few items that never made it into the media regarding this Jena-6.

  • Bell was brought before the court for the third time on assault charges in a two-year span.
  • Justin Barker, the white victim, was cold-cocked from behind, knocked unconscious and stomped by six black athletes.
  • A black U.S. attorney, Don Washington, investigated the “Jena Six” case and concluded that the attack on Barker had absolutely nothing to do with the noose-hanging incident three months before.
  • No black people responded to the jury summonses for the trial, hence he ended up with an all white jury.
  • Bell’s public defender was black.
  • Bell’s absentee father returned from Dallas and re-entered his son’s life only after Bell faced attempted-murder charges.
  • Bell was already on probation for assault when he was accused of participating in Barker’s attack.
  • It’s never mentioned that white people in the “racist” town of Jena provided Bell support and protected his football career.

Some other things that weren't right in all of this. Yeah, the prosecutor has a problem, and should be dealt with. The three white students who hung the nooses, their expulsion should have been upheld, not overturned.

Mr. Whitlock so eloquently rounded off his article with this little snippet; Here is another undeniable, statistical fact: The best way for a black (or white) father to ensure that his son doesn’t fall victim to a racist prosecutor is by participating in his son’s life on a daily basis.

Bravo Mr. Whitlock, I salute you. Bravo indeed!

Global Warming For Kids?: More Indoctrination To Follow

We seem to be suffering from a lot of double standards these days. Everything from racial slurs that can be said by one race, but are taboo to be said by another. Don Imus' situation is a perfect example of this. "Nappy headed ho's," coming from a white guy appears to be the most egregious racial offense that can be committed. But pop any rap music CD in the player and you get treated to a symphony of profanities, degradations and racial epitaphs that eclipse Imus' comment by a long shot.

Another problem seems to be the evolutionism/creationism divide. Once again, we see quite a bit of a double standard. How dare anyone even suggest we teach an alternative idea in school to the great THEORY of evolution. Yes we know evolution is just a THEORY, and can't be supported in any way, shape or form to explain mans existence on the planet. But don't you dare even suggest we tell people that there might be another way things went down.

Are we catching on yet?

Now, along comes Al Gore-acle. Depressed and dejected from a loss to Bush for the White House. Try, try, and try some more, the votes wouldn't total out in his favor. So let's get people to turn against Bush another way. The Alarmist way. Let's tell people that the world is in serious peril from something called global warming. We'll get some well known "new-age" scientists to sign on to try and make it look legit. We'll use all kinds of nifty looking computer imaged models to show how bad things will get down the road. We just won't tell them we can't account for any weather changes as simple as cloud cover that will have an effect on reality. We'll also tell them the Arctic icecaps are melting. We'll ignore any reports that the ice shelf on Mt. Shasta, or the entire Antarctic shelf for that matter have been growing at an astounding rate.

Further disappointed is the Gore. Why aren't people buying into my BULL$%#T? I've made-up as much crap as I can and still people continue to disbelieve in global warming. The only one's who believe me are the hippie tree huggers (who have no money so they're worthless,) celebrities (who no one seriously believes in anymore,) and the media (who people believe in even less than celebrities.) What ever will I do to get this ball on the roll again so I can continue to profit from all the alternative energy companies supporting me, and drive my giant SUV.

I know, I'll push this on kids. YEAH, kids will believe anything. Kind of like democrats believing Iraq was about oil.

Sure enough, we now have a global warming book for kids. An Inconvenient Truth producer Laurie David (who is a "rabid" environmentalist) and her enviro buddy Cambria Gordon have co-authored a book entitled A Down-To-Earth Guide to Global Warming to be published by Scholastic. ISBN-13: 9780439024945. Scholastic, is trying to place the book into schools everywhere. Talk about madrassa style brain washing. And this is okay with people? It's one thing to teach kids about recycling or how to help keep the neighborhood cleared up. I have no problem with that. It's probably not a bad idea. But to indoctrinate kids with more crap, that can't even be proven or justified, but presented as fact?

I think not. They have enough to worry about as it is, what with acne, pop-quiz's, first dates and prom. Shouldn't these kind of things be all that kids have to concern themselves with in school, and not some half-assed "end of the world" theory cooked up by a has been politician?

Columbia University: The Return Of Ivy League Stupidity, Again

Since 1969, Columbia University has BANNED the ROTC program from being allowed on their campus. Students wishing to participate in the ROTC would have to travel to outside campuses. In 2003, a poll taken of the student populace showed that many (actually a majority) wanted the ROTC program on campus. As is normal for "Lefty" institutions, it was debated to death until in 2005, the now "Reigning" President Lee Bollinger tossed his hat in the ring and caused a continued denial of the program.

Last year, the Columbia Dean of international and public affairs, Lisa Anderson, extended an invitation to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as a speaker at the Morningside campus. Something about wanting to engage and promote free speech, if you can believe that. By the next day, headlines read "Withdrawal of Invitation." Anderson claimed it had something to do with being a Security problem. Bollinger withdrew the invitation saying that he was unsure Ahmadinejad could "reflect the academic values that are the hallmark of a University event such as our World Leaders Forum." But to keep the "door open," Bollinger told Anderson that Ahmadinejad could still speak at the school, but not as a part of the university-wide leader's forum. Oh how nice of Bollinger.

He will essentially allow an open supporter of terror activities and a denier of the holocaust, who is hell-bent on whipping a few countries off the map, mostly notably Israel, and refuses to comply with international regulations on nuclear advancements, to speak at "His" university. But a simple program like ROTC is demon spawned? Why am I not shocked and amazed here?

Flash forward one year to well, today, and Columbia has RE-invited that same evil bastard back to speak on their campus. That's right. The guy with the alphabet for a name that calls us the "Great Satan" is to speak at Columbia University next Monday, September 24. At exactly what point did the Ivy League loose all its remaining vestiges of intelligence and sanity, not to mention any possible redemption of its credibility?

The prompting of this visit was by Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Khazaee who initiated the contact with Richard Bulliet, who is a specialist on Iran at Columbia University. Specialist on Iran? What kind of specialist on Iran AGREES to have a terrorist sponsor come to his campus?

Oh, but don't worry folks, Bollinger swears he will pose "sharp" questions to the dictator. Questions like;

  • his denial of the Holocaust;
  • his public call for the destruction of the state of Israel;
  • his support for international terrorism that targets innocent civilians and American troops;
  • Iran's pursuit of nuclear ambitions against international sanctions;
  • his government's widely documented suppression of civil society and women's rights;
  • his government's imprisoning of journalists and scholars, including Columbia's own alumni, Dr. Kian Tajbakhsh.

Exactly what will any of this hope accomplish? Other than to legitimize Ahmadinejad and Iran on the world's political stage? Ahmadinejad is a politician, and as we've seen over the last decade or so, politicians ramble, flip-flop and re-direc-stract. In other words, spend a lot of words to say absolutely nothing.

And he doesn't have to. By simply agreeing to allow him to speak on their campus, Bollinger has made himself a poster boy for the "paper-tiger" tag that circulates throughout the middle east about America. And, as so eloquently penned by William Kristol in the Yahoo News article, "President Bollinger is a fool who is not excused from the dishonor he brings to his institution and his fellow citizens by the fact that he doesn't know what he is doing."

But hey, how much should we really expect out of an institution that favors dictators and terrorist supporters who are currently responsible for the deaths of our troops, over a program for our future troops.

There's That Name Again: "Muslim Brotherhood" The Agenda Revealed

Last Friday, (Sept. 14th) I received my regular e-letter from American Congress for Truth. That days e-letter contained excerpts from an editorial regarding the agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood that have been revealed during the ongoing Holyland Foundation trials.

On Sunday Sept. 9th, editorial writer and columnist Rod Dreher who is following the Holyland Foundation trial in Dallas wrote an editorial for the Dallas Morning News. The article in it's entirety can be read HERE.

Dreher opened his editorial with a quote from Pres. Bush of; "Our strategy is this, we will fight them over there so we do not have to face them in the United States of America." Jihadists are what he was referring to, and for the most part, we've been lucky enough to not have to endure another 9/11. Unfortunately, this may soon no longer be the case.

A 1991 document captured by FBI personnel during a raid in Virginia, referred to as the "explanatory memorandum," outlines the extremist goals of the group The Muslim Brotherhood, also known as (Ikhwan). Here is a clip taken from that document:

  • The process of settlement [of Islam in the United States] is a "Civilization-Jihadist" process with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that all their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" their miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who choose to slack.

I'm guessing the so called "slackers" are moderate democracy-loving muslims who have come to love this country more than they hate us. If there is an abundance of these, they really need to start speaking up, and out against the islamofascists. As was mentioned in my Glenn Beck article, a Muslim manifestation of liberty is the greatest antidote to global jihad and political Islam.

The explanatory memorandum is an 18 page document directing those of the Brotherhood to assimilate into American society, to establish and gain control of Muslim organizations for the purpose of educating and preparing for a global Islamic state. A former Islamic radical, Husain Haqqani who heads up Boston University's Center for International Relations has said that the Muslim Brotherhood runs a majority of the Muslim organizations in America today. I don't suppose that CAIR, the MAS or the ISNA are in that grouping.

What do you know? The HLF trial has exposed that not only is HAMAS a Palestinian wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, but that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the Muslim American Society (MAS) are important factors in the Muslim Brotherhood's agenda of waging a non-violent jihad in America. Well how about that?

Another American Muslim who left the Brotherhood, Mustafa Saied, was noted in a Tribune article that he was concerned with the type of indoctrination that Muslims were getting here in America from the Brotherhood. Saied went on to comment that, "With the extreme element you never know when that ticking time bomb will go off." Could that potential "time bomb" go off perhaps in our schools? Stand by for the American version of Beslan.

Freedom of speech is one of many rites we enjoy here in America, and these groups have the "rite" so to speak, to advocate their beliefs. But with radicalism, just like everyone else, they also have the right to intense scrutiny. As noted in Dreher's column, one such Muslim, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy is sounding the alarm about radical Islam's stealth takeover of U.S. Muslim institutions.

I suppose it wouldn't be very "PC" for a few documentaries to crop up here in America, like the BBC's exposing of radical mosques in the U.K. (Where's Michael Moore and his incredible mocumentary-team now?) The time for political correctness is at an end. I do care to be honest, about those American Muslims that have to endure the pressures here in America caused by their islamofascist kin. But it is in their best interests to "speak out" against such behavior. Not only for their own well being, but also to make it known to the non-Muslim population of America that there are Muslims among them, (like those few listed above,) that DON'T agree with the Muslim Brotherhood's ideals.

Glenn Beck's "Perfect Day" Series: Echoes From My Past Chats

Last week, radio talk show host and CNN "token Conservative" Glenn Beck hosted a series entitled 'The Perfect Day." Although I doubt that the information provided in this series even dented the skulls of the left, let alone sank-in, one can only hope and pray that something gets done to take care of our kids. This is a part of the reason why I am so supportive of students who are licensed to carry, be allowed to while on campus. A half a dozen students defending themselves can make a big difference. And as we saw in Beslan, 330+dead with over 170 of those being children, the safety and lives of the children aren't a major factor to them, so it might behove us to give our students the tools to at least "try" to survive.

With school shootings being what we consider an atrocity beyond parallel, incidents like the focus of this series, being the Beslan Hostage scenario really aren't that hard to imagine happening here in the U.S. At any given time, the average person can stroll onto any campus, walk in and out of buildings, and would be hard pressed for anyone to even notice they were there. Elementary and middle schools are no different.

The sad thing, as was noted during Beck's series is Americans CAN handle the truth. Give it to them straight, they'll get it. Fortunately, there are enough people in this country remaining who are still capable of independent thought and haven't been brainwashed by the propaganda of the Left that "everything is all right," and "we can work this all out just by talking with our enemies." Not likely.

Fmr. FBI Special Agent Don Clark who led the investigation after the first World Trade Center attack noted, "Terrorist don't just target big buildings, airports, refineries or ship channels. They also target something very near and dear to our hearts and souls: our children. Most of us understand that terrorists' primary objective is to instill fear in each and every one of us. Fear makes everything else possible. What better way to achieve that goal than to attack our schools and murder our children?"

Or worse yet, attack our schools, murder our children AND, capture it all on video to post on all those wonderful jihadist websites. Like the ones that host Bin Laden's videos. Would be a horrible thought. But I'm sure they have already considered that. I'm also pretty sure that very few people were aware that the back-up plan for the Madrid Train bombing, was to attack a school. Osama and other Al-Qaeda leaders have publicly declared that before this jihad is finished, 4 million Americans will die, including 2 million children. Food for thought? Because that's an enormous Crap-sandwhich.

School attacks also aren't hard to imagine when people find out that outsiders have been attempting to purchase school buses. Some school buses in Houston have actually been stolen. Emergency procedures for some schools have been turning up in the hands of people that "really should not have them." Lastly, intelligence gathering of schools and school facilities has been occurring in places like Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, Florida, Virginia and California. But I doubt CAIR or the MSA had anything to do with that.

But most importantly, the biggest problem America faces with an incident like this occurring, is the backlash against moderate muslims in America. As mentioned in the Beck series, a Muslim manifestation of liberty is the greatest antidote to global jihad and political Islam. To create a divide between Americans and Democratically inclined Muslims who actually favor the liberties and freedoms they enjoy here in America over the theocratic islamofascists political ideals. Essentially, cause Americans themselves to do the dirty work of creating a further divide between the fabrics of its people.

The best thing that can be done for the moment, to guard against such horrible acts occurring in our schools, is to be aware and to prepare. Discuss plans with your family and with other parents. Notify school officials of problems you see. To them, one voice is annoying, many voices can potentially affect their purse strings.

And although not a popular idea, as many colleges and universities are inherently "left-sided," Chertoff's idea makes sense. Colleges and Universities SHOULD be reporting when students who are here on visas are not fulfilling their obligations when they skip class. No, I don't mean taking a day or two off for illness, but when they fail to show for a week, someone should know about it.

In the end, one can only hope and pray that America never see's a Beslan in its own backyard. Whether or not it does, depends on how we deal with the problem BEFORE it happens.

Brigitte Gabriel's Impassioned Speach To Congress: Zach Wamp Echoes Mrs. Gabriel

This last Monday evening, American Congress for Truth founder Brigitte Gabriel was provided an opportunity to speak before members of Congress regarding the real life threat that islamofascism presents to all of us. The meeting was organized by Congressman McCotter and Congressman Saxton, both of which deserve thanks for making this happen.

Mrs. Gabriel described the scene, as Congressional Representatives sat in stunned silence and amazement at what was being delivered to them by Mrs. Gabriel. After she spoke, there was an approximately hour long question and answer session as one after the other, Representatives soaked up any and all information Mrs. Gabriel could provide.

Afterwards, many of the Reps. told Mrs. Gabriel that they hear from CAIR, Moveon.org and similar organizations, but as many of them told me, there is no one, there is no other organization on the Hill with the message I brought to them on your (ACT members) behalf.

According to Mrs. Gabriel, the members who attended were so moved and so motivated that they want to organize a major meeting to have me present to the entire body of Congress, House and Senate, Republicans and Democrats. Finally, if this were to happen, we may actually SEE some real bi-partisan cooperation and action instead of the bickering, posturing and debasing that has reigned over the last several years.

Congressman Steve Pearce of New Mexico who introduced the John Doe bill which was passed, was also present and sends his thanks for the support in making that happen. A note of thanks to Congressman Pearce would be a good idea.

Our elected officials need to hear from you - they hear from people on many issues; taxes, immigration, health care – but NOT on national security. Here is the opportunity to SOUND OFF!, and let them know what your concerns about security are.

Apparently, Mrs. Gabriel's message made such a powerful impression, that many Reps. have already begun to take action. Later that evening Congressman Zach Wamp took to the House floor and essentially echoed the impassioned speech given by Mrs. Gabriel about the threat of islamofascism to America

Here are some of the excerpts from Congressman Wamp's delivery:

We come, as members of the Republican Policy Committee tonight, we just left a briefing downstairs from a Lebanese Christian named Brigitte Gabriel, who wrote a book called "Because They Hate." Some would ignore her, but, frankly, coming from that world and being able to go on Internet chat rooms and read Arabic and know what's going on out there, we should listen. We should listen very carefully to what's happening in the world of radical Islam

Mark Steyn just tells us recently of a book that was published called "Alms for Jihad; Charity and Terrorism in the Islamic World." A guy named Jay Millard Burr wrote it. Great research in Saudi Arabia where all this oil money, and we heard this downstairs from Brigitte as well, using the Saudi Arabian oil money to promote terrorists around the world, period. It's happening

Listen, to me, at the sixth anniversary of 9/11, is a call to action for Americans who've been lulled into complacency thinking that somehow this conflict is about Iraq. If we would just leave Iraq, all of our problems go away. I'll say to you tonight, Mr. Speaker, this is not about Iraq. Iraq is the venue, it's the theater, it's where al Sadr is, it's where the Iranians and the Syrians have come, it's where they've recruited, it's where the fight is, but it's not about Iraq. It's about us and radical Islam at war. That's the theater. But let me tell you, it could just as easily be here tomorrow. God forbid it, but it could be just as easily here.

You may say, oh, he's wild; he's off the reservation. Not true. This is the way it is. They're using our very porous borders to come at us. And we're not secure. We're ignoring the threat… And let me tell you, this threat we face, nobody wants to hear this, is greater than the threat of Nazi Germany

This is not George Bush's war. This is America's fight. We committed it together. Some people would like to blame it on others now and not accept the responsibility. But this is America's fight against radical Islam, and it will go on for years to come, even when Iraq is over. And there'll be a time where Iraq is not the central theater. I'm concerned we're going to be fighting radical Islam all the days of my life. The question is, are we going to stand up, as generations before us have, and defend freedom.

Bravo Congressman Wamp. Bravo.

Here's A Novel Idea: Let's Try SUPPORTING The War!

Amongst the major Democratic mouthpieces of the House and Senate, this may not be their first choice to bringing our men and women of the Armed Forces home, as it would mean they essentially would have to "take it in the rear," for one more turn of elections. But something occurred to me that hasn't seemed to have struck home just yet amongst those same Democratic Elite. Actually supporting the war.

Now hear me out before you liberals and democrats start spewing your pre-scripted barrages of Cindy Sheehan-esque hatred. If you TRULY want the war in Iraq to be over and done with, if you TRULY want our soldiers, sailors and Marines back stateside, YOU MUST support the war. This is the fastest way to bring this Iraq war to an end. There really is no other option, other than to complete the military campaign currently under way.

This ideal is actually age-old and bears consideration. It's what is referred to as Psychological warfare in military circles. The effect of mind games on the enemy. This, as any American on the mid-eastern coast of America can attest to without fail, works. Does the name John Allen Mohammed ring a bell? A guy with a rifle, "sniping" folks from seemingly out of the blue, whilst they pumped gas. Created quite a bit of fear didn't it? Virtually every news cast began with a report in one form or another about it for months.

Vietnam veterans (who are actually willing to speak of it) stationed in certain locations in Vietnam, can recall times when fellow soldiers had been captured, and NVA interrogators were torturing them from just out of weapons range, knowing the soldiers in the base couldn't reach them, and wouldn't risk coming out after them at night. Imagine the effect this had on OUR soldiers. And people wonder why so many came back messed up?

The same would be true today. No, I'm not suggesting that we torture detainees. That's what Al-qaeda does as was revealed by the torture manuals captured during raids in Iraq. As well as the world wide video broadcasting of charred security personnel being dragged through the streets. I'm talking about our useless propaganda machine. OUR media outlets. They haven't had anything better to do over the last several years other than to trump up unsubstantiated falsities and puppet the democratic elitists. Let's give them something worthwhile to do.

A mass outpouring from the public to outlets like the NYTimes, LATimes, CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC demanding reports of the "positives" occurring in Iraq should do the trick. And from all the information pouring in from actual troops on the ground in Iraq, (not that "embedded" journalist crap, who are just there to take snapshots and video of OUR wounded and dead,) we know there is plenty of good info to go around.

This would create a multi-fold effect. First off, it would continue to keep morale high amongst our troops, as was reported by two fellows of the Brookings Institute. Next, international multimedia. Thanks to satellite broadcasting, Internet streaming downloads and the like, EVERYONE would be able to see it. And I mean EVERYONE.

That includes our muslim extremest friends over there.... "What is this Ahmmed? The media is no longer on our side? What are we going to do now? How are we to convince all those 18-28 year old men to blow themselves up now?" "I do not know about you Habhib, but I am giving up. If CNN isn't going to be our mouthpiece any more, then we don't stand a chance. The heck with that 'Great Satan' camel crap now!"

Which already outlines another point. The media wouldn't be used by our enemy to create even more bombers. This could potentially have even further reaching implications than just Iraq, as it would effectively reduce the number of problems one of our last remaining allies, Israel, would have to deal with.

All in all, it could work. The only real problem? Liberal Democrats. Unfortunately, they simply don't want us to achieve victory in Iraq. They don't want anymore good news emanating from bi-partisan approved and highly respected military commanders like Gen. Petraeus. They don't want to have to wait another four years to start turning this country into AmeriKa. Land of the "used to be" free, home of the candy-assed jabronies.

Faith In Surge Grows: CBS Ignores Poll Showing Growing Favor Of Surge

Of course CBS is ignoring the obvious. Did anyone actually expect the Communist Brain-washing Service to report poll findings that cast the surge in a positive light? Not a chance. Way back in July, the "sweetheart of stupidity," Katie Couric was elated to report that, less than 19% of Americans polled believed the surge would do any good. That was leading news back then. Flash forward to August, that percentage spiked up ten points to 29% of Americans that had faith in the surge. That news, amazing as it was, garnered about a 20 second snippet about 20 minutes or so into the broadcast.

Now here we are in September, barely over a week into September I might add, and that percentage has ALREADY climbed to 35%. CBS's evening news Monday night didn't even bother to bring it up. They did however find a few polls that showed opposition to the war, and a lack of faith in Pres. Bush. Surprise surprise.

But this is really nothing new. As I said, do we really expect any better from our media outlets these days? I thought not.

The goal apparently of media these days is to maintain a lack of credibility that fully supports the public's growing trust of Military Commanders to get the jobs they're sent to do, done. Prior to Gen. Petraeus' report yesterday, the public's faith in the military to take care of Iraq and ACCURATELY report on the happenings there, had already been sitting at about 68%. I can only imagine how debilitating any new polls will be to the media's credibility now that the report has been made.

The really sad part about this, is that it really wouldn't be all that terrible to the world if the media "just reported" the news as it is. Oh sure, perhaps then Democrats might actually have to work for their pay a little more. But just provide the investigated information to the public, without some overtly liberal agendized spin on it. And sometimes, the spins are so outrageous, it drives the public further away. JUST REPORT THE STINKIN' NEWS PEOPLE! Then perhaps, you may actually find your ratings climb a little, at least enough points to be considered more than the rag-mags you find at the grocery store checkout counter racks.

Petraeus Takes The Brunt: MoveOn.org Labels Him "Betray Us"

Not that any of us who are still capable of independent thought would expect any better of the anti-American group MoveOn.org, but to take out a full page ad in the New York Times (not that that would surprise us either) calling The Commander of U.S. forces in Iraq "Gen. Betray Us," is a bit much. And it may potentially just bite them in the butt more than help their cause.

Mostly because even though a portion of the populace is not hugely supportive of the war itself, they still carry an enormous desire of caring for our troops both at home and abroad. Gen Petraeus is one of those troops. To mock him essentially, is to mock our troops. Ouch. But that wouldn't matter to MoveOn.org, who's sole goal at this time is to undermine any positive mention of the happenings in Iraq. Hence, MoveOn's intent with this ad was to devalue today's Congressional report by Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker.

Democrats themselves have also been on the war path the last couple days noting that the report was subject to speculation, as if they were calling the General "Bush's lap-dog" of a sort. But the report, not released to anyone prior to these hearings today confirmed the Democrats worst fears. That the surge has been working. While civilian deaths still remain "too high," according to Petraeus, sectarian violence was down 50% nationwide and down 80% in Baghdad.

Petraeus noted how the largest improvements in security were in the once volatile Anbar province, and in Baghdad itself. Democrats did get a slight breathe of relief when he mentioned that security trends in other provinces were less dramatic. Though he noted that in recent weeks other provinces had also seen improvements.

The main issue for Democrats during the hearing was troop withdrawal. As Tom Lantos mentioned, "We need to get out of Iraq for that country's sake and our own. It is time to go, and to go now.'' Petraeus had something to say about withdrawals as well. He said troop levels could be reduced to about 130,000 troops, or 15 brigades, by the summer of 2008. Petraeus recommended withdrawals starting this month, beginning with a Marine Expeditionary Unit, followed by the withdrawal of a brigade in mid-December, and the departure without replacement of four more brigades and two Marine battalions by July.

Such reductions can be carried out "without jeopardizing the security gains that we have fought so hard to achieve, so long as progress continues as anticipated," Petraeus said.

Many anti-war commentators are, as democrats like to coin the phrase, still "beating a dead horse," as to whether this war is over oil. I find this continuing on a daily basis, hard to believe. If this truly were a "war for oil," why are we still paying over $2.50 a gallon instead of about $0.70 per gallon? The Iraqi public oil companies have been in full control of the oil production for over two years now. Let us please put this stupid and beyond senseless argument to rest. For every ones sake.

In the end, improvements are being made continually in Iraq. Morale amongst the troops is high, as even noted by a couple of Brookings Institute individuals who are in no way fans of the President or the war. Instead of badgering and berating our forces and it's leaders, do you think we could potentially try "Supporting" or leaders? Perhaps without all the undue and excess drama brought about by groups like MoveOn.org who only want communism in "Amerika", we can actually try "being" Americans?

More American Based Web Companies Hosting Jihadist Web Sites

A couple weeks back I tapped out my thoughts with support from CNSNews.com about a pretty nasty group that has been barred from many countries, calling for the formation of a Caliphate starting in Indonesia. My article also included much from a MEMRI.org article reporting on a website hosted in Texas, (RealWebHost) that gave details on "How to kidnap Americans."

I actually got a comment for it, but it turns out it was some jihadi clown who supports those actions. Unfortunately for people like him, yet ANOTHER web site company here in America has been exposed for hosting a wonderful ANTI-American web site.

As being reported by MEMRI.org again, and forwarded to me by the American Congress for Truth, SiteGenie LLC of Rochester, Minnesota hosted an Islamist website on August 26, which included an item titled "How to Join Al-Qaeda." OOPS, to Anonymous there in my comments section for my previous post. I hope this doesn't make you look too bad.

Moving along, as noted in the MEMRI article, it is not clear when the item was written; it was produced by the website Al-Thabitoun 'Ala Al-'Ahd, which is affiliated with Al-Qaeda in Egypt. Does that spell it out enough for everyone? The article also mentions the call on every Muslim to regard jihad as a personal duty and to take initiative to establish a jihad cell without waiting for recognition from Al-Qaeda. It goes on to elaborate on how to form and run the cell, how to raise funds, and how to select a target, "for example, assassinating the American ambassador," which, it states, "takes no more than a gun and a bullet."

Ding, we just stepped out of the protective boundaries of "freedom of speech." We have now encouraged direct and intentional, malicious violence by one person against another. "Co-conspirator" is a term that comes to mind after reading that part.

MEMRI lists a few more notable excerpts from the jihadist site;

  • "You feel that you want to carry a weapon, fight, and kill the occupiers, and that it is our duty to call for jihad as much as to call for prayer... All that is required is a firm personal decision to fulfill this obligation, and participation in jihad and the resistance.
  • "As the first step, imagine that Al-Qaeda does not exist and that you are interested [in waging] jihad - what would you do in this case?... If you know any young people - whether one, two, or more - in your area, mosque, or university who are as dedicated and enthusiastic about jihad as you are, come to an understanding with them, and together form a cell whose objective is to help Islam and only Islam. (Note the reference to UNIVERISTIES in this. Can we say CAIR? Or perhaps MSA? Explains the advancement of muslim special priveledges on campuses as of late.)
  • "What is the difference between you and the hero of the New York attack, Muhammad Atta, who planned an action which even today shakes the world every time it is mentioned? Assassinating the ambassador takes no more than a gun and a bullet."
  • "You must be aware that you have brothers everywhere, and that they are expecting the actions of you and your friends even if they don't know you in person or by name... Every jihad cell is a microcosm of the world jihad organization."

Well now, wasn't that just special. I just feel sooooo loved by members of the "Religion of peace."

Getting The "Hell Out Of Iraq," And "Bush Is A Liar"

I guess I won't be allowed any more days off, as it seems every time I do, the media once again suffers from "head-up-A$$" syndrome and makes some spectacularly idiotic assumption, reference or comment.

Most recently, is the assumption by ABC's Kate Snow this past Tuesday night that 'Everyone Is Concerned' About 'Getting the Hell Out of Iraq.' Really? I'm part of everyone and am not worried, concerned, or even bothered for that matter about when we'll leave Iraq. I suppose that's a benefit of having ACTUALLY SERVED in active duty as a Marine. You actually get a pretty REALISTIC idea of how things work. Not someone else's deluded ideals of a communistic utopia in America.

But that's another story best saved for later. Anyways, Snow decided her report would be more official sounding by citing ONE WHOLE VOTER in her segment who basically read every liberal litany straight out of the ACLU's 'Guidebook for future Reds.' Snow quoted her agendite as having said, "She's worried about health care, Social Security and...'getting the Hell out of Iraq.'"

Snow's media satire was then followed by a World News piece from Jake Tapper who found, surprise-surprise, another Democrat, posing as an 'Independent' who says that his biggest concern is also Iraq. Shock and amazement here folks.

And where there's happenings with media crap, there is certain to be a segment of MSLSD's Keith Olbermann. I'm thinking 'horse with a broken leg' syndrome here. You just wanna take pity on a guy like Keith, while at the same time, want to let him continue to suffer eternally on his "Countdown-to no ratings." After all, we do still care for our elderly, even when they have no mind left to care for. I can honestly say, with as fast as his ratings are disappearing, it's quite possible HE will be gone before Bush is.

The Media Research Center described Olbermann's rant pretty well with, Olbermann assumed Bush's two statements -- about withdrawing some troops and "sustaining a presence" -- could not be consistent, thus contending Bush had revealed an "evil secret." Olbermann: "A man with any self respect, having inadvertently revealed such an evil secret, would have already resigned and fled the country! You have no remaining credibility about Iraq, sir!"

Olbermann branded Bush as a "liar," due to the President having raised the possibility of withdrawing some American troops during his speech in Iraq, after the President had also spoken, in Robert Draper's new book, "Dead Certain," of "sustaining a presence" in Iraq. Apparently this duality is an evil secret.

Rant-on Keith. And to alter a Motel 6 motto, "We'll keep the Geritol warmed for ya."
