Apparently, a lawyer for the hospital that admitted Benazir Bhutto after the assassination attempt is claiming that a Pakistani Police Chief (Aziz Saud) denied doctors the opportunity to conduct an autopsy on Bhutto's body. Saud denies this charge and states that he had recommended an autopsy be conducted, but that Bhutto's husband objected. Bhutto's husband, Asif Ali Zardari, has confirmed that he had refused the request.
I guess it should also be noted that it really is no surprise that this incident is being hyped as a scandal, as it was a LAWYER in Pakistan that brought this information about. Didn't they just recently have a revolt of some sort by a bunch of lawyers regarding the martial law conditions implemented by Musharraf a short while back?
So what now? The scandal battle is on. And it leaves me wondering, why the heck is this even relevant to anything? Apparently the Media believes it is important, since everyone from CNN to CBS, and even FOXNews carried coverage of it. But it's an exercise in anality in all honesty. Whether she was killed by the bullets fired at her, the bomb blast that went off directly afterwards, or as the Pakistani Government stated, that the cause of death was the impact of the side of her head with the sunroof lever IS NOT IMPORTANT IN ANY WAY.
What is important, and what the media should be concentrating on, is WHO killed her? How, is only inane diatribe. Then again, when the media here in America has lower approval ratings than our own pathetic excuse for a Congress, I suppose the inane should be considered the status quo. So far, the Pakistani Government believes it was Al Qaeda who was responsible.
Pakistan's Interior Ministry spokesman, Javed Iqbal Cheema said their was no objection to the body being exhumed by the family if they wanted to conduct an autopsy. Apparently, Zardari doesn't trust the Government in this regard. As of now, they're remain against an exhumation.
I guess the media really misses the IED casualties in Iraq if they have to resort to stories like this. Go surge!
UPDATE: 1-2-2008; For those who may be wondering, yes you are correct, I haven't written anything new for a few days. I have been pondering, and decided to go through with, going on a writting sabatical for a few months. With all the political mess we are in now, and all the crap we've been put through over the last year and a half, I need the rest, just as America needs a rest from liberals. I'll c yas on the flip side. --John

Benazir Bhutto Assassination: What Does It Mean For U.S.?
Okay, now that some time (although not much) has passed since the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, I believe enough information has been made available to tap out a few thoughts. In regards to an incident of this magnitude, perhaps it is in fact best to hold back the reigns a short while instead of trying to be "the first with the story."
Much has been said of Bhutto's position in the Pakistani world of politics, and that is from BOTH sides of the coin. There are those that praised her, and those that despised her.
Some family believed she had a hand in the assassination of her own younger brother, Benazir Bhutto. (See Article "A Niece Tells Us The Truth...".) It was also believed that there were some serious money scandals in the works. A conviction on laundering was under appeal in a Swiss court.
Yet she did have western allies, as Bush was a supporter of her being re-instituted into the Pakistani government. There are those who would say that, "that doesn't speak well her." As well, there were many countries who leaped to the, "We condemn this action!" podium, but urged the country to move forward with the democratic process of the upcoming elections there.
What followed after her death were speculations and conjecture aplenty. Did the bomb kill her? Did the bullets kill her? Was it the concussion of the explosion itself that killed her? Rioting and a few deaths ensued. I believe the approximate number is 23 deaths. And from most accounts, there was no shrapnel or bullets found in Bhutto's body. It has been determined, (for now) that the force of the explosion had thrown Bhutto back as she was ducking down through the sunroof. As she was thrown back, the back of her head struck the sunroof lever, quite forcibly I would imagine, and fractured her skull causing the fatal damage. Depending on which news agency you subscribe to, between 10's of thousands and 100's of thousands turned out for the funeral of Bhutto.
Now to the really important stuff. What affect will Bhutto's death have on the rest of the world? It's at this time that Musharraf will face some of his toughest decisions. Bhutto's death may become his saving grace, or his ultimate demise. Should he move to reestablish martial law, this could seriously piss off the lower class population, of which was the majority of Bhutto's supporters. This could possibly lead to a civil war. That would be bad.
But if he's lucky enough, the outrage of these same peoples could turn against the extremists themselves, who most likely were responsible for the attack in the first place. The anti-extremist movement is already gaining good momentum as is being witnessed in Iraq. This could possibly increase that upswing several-fold.
Musharraf has been walking a super thin tightrope ever since the war on terror had begun. Both in pleasing his western allies (namely America) and trying to sate the extremists he is fully aware of that are in his country. And he is also fully aware that the people won't just "bend over and take it." As has already been witnessed by the Lawyer Revolt. If lawyers can take to the streets, how much more will it take for the rest of the country to follow?
Civil war is not in the best interest of either Pakistan, or the rest of the world for that matter. As I'm sure most are aware, Pakistan IS a nuclear nation. Should civil unrest ensue, how much easier would it be for Al Qaeda, or any other organization to obtain some of that precious nuclear material? And for what purpose would it be used? I doubt Al Qaeda is in the neighborhood of wanting to build a reactor for Energy purposes.
Here are a few NEWS MAX .COM pages and an article by Brigitte Gabriel, (an amazing woman) to add to all the above.

Start Stoking The Fire: We're In For Another Cold War
After the break up of the Soviet Union, (which you know the Kremlin will never forget,) America was all open arms to newly emerging democracies throughout Eastern Europe, and even some former Soviet countries.
Bush, not wanting to leave them high and dry, has opined the possibility of ramping up missile defense in some of these areas like Poland and the Czech Republic. That has gotten a number of former KGB-ists panties in a bunch. Especially the recently awarded Time's 2007 Person of the Year winner, Vladimir Putin. Yes, Putin is former KGB. You remember them, those folks that like to use ACTUAL torture. And I don't mean that pansy water boarding either.
But now, in a bid to generate a much chillier cold front, Russia has successfully tested its newest ICBM. The RS-24 ICBM, which has a range of over 6,000 miles, and is capable of carrying AT LEAST three (3) warheads according to (Russian) Strategic Missile Forces spokesman Alexander Vovk.

Obama And The Muslim Factor: Is He Or Isn't He?
DanielPipes.org recently carried a very interesting article which was also featured on The Coservative Voice about the whole Obama-muslim tie in. What Pipes had to say brings up some very interesting points. What it didn't say is what I personally found to be more interesting, but I'll get to that later in this article.
Ever since the Hillary camp started putting out the "Obama the Muslim" message, this has become a reemerging topic for Obama and friends to deal with. Kind of like that gnat, that no matter how much you swat at it, it just won't go away. The Obama groupies thought it would be squashed and done with, when he gave a strong first response to it of, "If I were a muslim I would let you know," and he is a practicing Christian, a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ. He is not now a Muslim.
His campaign website also carried the message of, "Barack Obama Is Not and Has Never Been a muslim," followed by: "Obama never prayed in a mosque. He has never been a muslim, was not raised a muslim, and is a committed Christian."
Sounds feasible enough. So why does this question of his supposed muslim background keep popping up?
Pipes' article on his website lists a good bit about the background of Obama's early years, how he was raised primarily by his mother, spent time living in Indonesia, and went to a Catholic school were he was registered as, oops, a muslim. I HIGHLY recommend you visit Pipes' site to read the ENTIRE article.
But now to my question. Pipes partially covered it with his inquiries about the possible after affects of what muslims would think of him, having changed (possibly) from muslim to another religion. Or what actions would be perceived/acted on, by more devout (radical) muslims against a person possibly considered a murtadd (apostate).
My one question is, what actions would OBAMA himself take? Remember, George Soros is the main cash-cow pumping money into Obama's campaign. And the term TAQIYYA weighs heavily on my mind in this instance. Obama believes his muslim "exposure" as a youngster would give him the foresight to better understand and interact with the middle east on issues.
I wonder.....

The Nanny State Soda Tax: How About A Health Food Tax?
In the never ending drive to be one of the "beautiful people," many Americans have taken to buying up every loose 50lbs. overnight program, creams to melt off the pounds while you sleep and shunned all foods that aren't of the vegan variety.
But is it making a difference? Apparently not, as San Fransisco's mayor now wants to impose a "Soda Tax" to curb the obesity in children. No surprise that this is starting in San Fran. Welcome to the Nanny State. According to a recent Health Department survey cited by (SF mayor) Gavin Newsom, 10% of the calories kids consume come from sodas.
Yeah...?.... And...?
That's it. 10% of their calories come from sodas.
Okay...?.... There's something else to go with this.... right..?
Nope, that's it. Since we've pretty much taken away any outdoor, group participation activity from kids, they now sit on their butt's in front of the PC or TV most of their day. Hence, they get fat. So we now need a tax on sodas to try and stem the obesity tide?
Yeah, that's gonna work. Good thinking..., Gavin.
Personally, I think we need a tax on all these "healthy" products. Since the soda tax would be considered a "Sin" tax, and people aren't using the healthy stuff to actually be healthy, but out of Vanity. And Vanity falls into the (you guessed it,) "sins" bracket. So shouldn't we be taxing the heck out of all these so-called healthy products? (That seem so often to kill several people from being contaminated with one bacteria or another.)
End result, knock off the nanny-crap Gavin, your really starting to annoy people. And people act irrationally when they become irritated.

UPDATES: Border Fence Funding Hoax
For those who DON'T get regular updates from pages like Firesociety.com, (which I highly recommend that you do,) Congress has passed the Consolidated Appropriations bill. The bill DOES include the Hutchison amendment.
What does that mean you might ask?
Well, it means that the Border Fence funding has been completely gutted, by OUR OWN governmental representatives. The 854 miles of double layer fencing along our southern border will most likely NOT be completed, except by the personal efforts of groups like the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps.
Firesociety.com has MANY links about this that I suggest you take a look at. Several outlets have written about this to include, Lou Dobbs, Michelle Malkin, Worldnetdaily, CNS news and even Investors Business Daily.
I also recommend that you make known to your individual representatives how disturbing you find their support of this amendment is.

2007: The Year Man-Made Global Warming Fears "Bite The Dust"
That my friends, is such a sweet sound. 2007 dubbed as the year man-made global warming fears bite the dust. I could listen to that over and over again, and never tire of it. Finally, the world is being told the truth. And the dissension list continues to grow by leaps and bounds. You can read the article on NewsMax.
In a just recently released report, published by over 400 members of the scientific community, many of which were even part of the U.N.'s IPCC panel, will be the proverbial knife "slitting the throat of global warming."
The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee issued the report, which challenges the very "consensus" theory being coddled by the media and U.N. Comments and news articles/broadcasts, such as;
- CNN’s Miles O’Brien (July 23, 2007): "The scientific debate is over. We're done." O’Brien also declared on CNN on Feb. 9, 2006 that scientific skeptics of man-made catastrophic global warming “are bought and paid for by the fossil fuel industry, usually.”
- The Washington Post asserted on May 23, 2006 that there were only “a handful of skeptics” of man-made climate fears.
- UN special climate envoy Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland on May 10, 2007 declared the climate debate "over" and added “it's completely immoral, even, to question” the U.N.’s scientific “consensus."
.. and many more examples are now surely to become a thing of the past. Global warming pundits are now seeing the beginning of the end.
And it's not like they just grabbed a bunch of High School Musical scientists either. In this new report, the scientists are described as experts in diverse fields, including climatology, oceanography, geology, biology, glaciology, and paleoclimatology. Many of which shared the Nobel with Gore.
It's about time this message got out, it just would have been better if it had only come out sooner. The perhaps we could have reduced or eliminated THIS KIND, or THIS KIND of bully-tactics. But HERE again, is my two bits.

Global Warming: Takin' It In The Rear... AGAIN!
Boy-o-boy, talk about takin' it in the rear, literally. Global warming just keeps getting slammed left and right as more and more of the truth becomes public knowledge. It's almost as if the REAL facts and figures are pulling a gang-raping on the climate-crazies.
Too bad this didn't come out about a week sooner, maybe Paula Dobriansky would have lasted that final hour by refusing to cave into the "mob rules" forum in Bali. Then again, maybe not.
So what is it I'm ranting about you ask? Why I'm glad you asked. It's the newest report being published in the December 2007 issue of the International Journal of Climatology of the Royal Meteorological Society. Basically, A LOT of people who actually know what's really going on, unlike an ex-vice president who got beat by Bush, playing with a laser pointer on stage in front of a slide show. (Circus show is more like it.)
The Canada Free Press, as well as many other outlets carried this story which describes global warming as, "New Peer-Reviewed Study Finds ‘Warming is naturally caused and shows no human influence’." Not exactly stellar support for a supposed consensus.
One of the Co-authors, S. Fred Singer said: “The current warming trend is simply part of a natural cycle of climate warming and cooling that has been seen in ice cores, deep-sea sediments, stalagmites, etc., and published in hundreds of papers in peer-reviewed journals.... We must conclude, therefore, that attempts to control CO2 emissions are ineffective and pointless. – but very costly." Singer's report can be found HERE.
And once again, I'll throw my own two cents in the pot with my article HERE, which I have been saying for quite a while.

Hey Normandale, We Have An "Establishment Clause" You Know
Boy I bet groups like CAIR, (Council on American-Islamic Relations ), the MSA (Muslim Student's Association), OIC (Oragnization of Islamic Conference), Council of Islamic Education (CIE), and all those others are just loving every minute of watching yet another American school "bow down before Sharia."
Katherine Kersten is rapidly becoming somewhat of a journalistic hero to me for exposing the muslim agenda in American schools. In yet another piece, Kersten reveals that Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN. has converted their last remaining racquetball court into a "meditation" center. The room comes complete with an arrow pointing worshipers toward mecca, a sign informing entrants to remove their shoes, a room divider to separate males from females, and a convenient pile of shawls and head-coverings for women to use.
Let us not fail to mention the convenient batch of literature instructing women on proper Islamic behavior and the wonderful advice of "They should cover their faces and stay at home, and their speech should not “be such that it is heard.” Wow, so much for equal rights there ladies. And, Hey! What islamic indoctrination facility would be complete without a bit of "hate speech" tossed in? “The Jews and the Christians” are described as “the enemies of Allaah’s religion.” The document adds: “Remember that you will never succeed while you follow these people.” But remember, islam only wants peace with the Jews right? I mean, forget all that calling them pigs and apes stuff, and vowing to drive them into the sea drivel.
But Kersten brings up a grand point. One thing was missing from the meditation room: evidence of any faith but Islam. No Bible, no crucifix, no Torah. And several that have not gone along with the islam way in the meditation center have been met with hostility.
“For all practical purposes, this meditation room is essentially a Muslim prayer room,” said Chuck Chalberg of Normandale’s history faculty. “Something this unprecedented goes beyond religious toleration.” Lets toss in the comments from Chad Lunaas, a former student who works at the college part time. Lunaas mentions the frequent use of the restrooms sinks and toilet stalls being used up as foot washing facilities. Lunaas says he has brought his concerns to "a Muslim student who seemed to be in charge.” “His attitude was, ‘We don’t have to listen to you, we can do whatever we want.’ ”
So much for tolerance and diversity.
This isn't the first school either to bow to sharia, and all things muslim. Kersten has revealed a few other larger institutions that have also fallen in-step with islam. You can see other articles about Kersten's reports HERE and HERE.
One of my journalistic sweethearts, Debbie Schlussel, is no slouch on this subject either. She has a word or two to say about the American education system being transformed into islamic indoctrination centers as well. You can read some of it HERE.
And if ALL THAT isn't enough, then guess what? Here's even MORE for you to sate your appetite on from pipeline.org and campus-watch.org. Still not full? Okay, how about Frank J. Gaffney Jr. in the Washington Times. More, more you say? Well, if you think you can take it, how about Oren Dorell for USAToday?
By now, you have got to be feeling a bit like Violet Beauregarde from Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory. About to pop? But, should you actually still have any room left, here is one more for you. American Textbook Council's report about islam being "whitewashed" In U.S. textbooks.
That should give you plenty of reading for some time. But as the norm, I recommend you parents, pay attention to what your kids are being force fed in school. Or they may come home from school someday wearing head coverings or turbans or some such.

I, Am NOT Part Of The WE, In "We Will Go Forward And Join Consensus.”
Excuse me, but I seem to be in need of a little assistance here. I really don't remember checking the little box next to Paula Dobriansky's name on a ballot, electing her to a position to speak for me in any way, shape or form. Especially when it comes to matters regarding "Global Whining!"
And exactly how do we join a "Consensus" that doesn't exist? There isn't a consensus when it comes to global warming. And there never will be. Well, perhaps there will be now, thanks to tuck-tail and surrender in the recent UN Global warming get together in Bali.
I suppose a measure of thanks is due to Al (the Goracle) Gore popping in at the tail end to publicly bash his own country, of course to rousing applause from the rest of the congregants. "Gee.... Thanks Al,.."
Fourteen days. For FOURTEEN DAYS, America resisted the desecration of its sovereignty and stood firm. And then, as so eloquently put in a headline by the Sydney Morning Herald, a Swift Daylight Mugging. As further described, "it was as if the well-mannered halls of the United Nations had been invaded by wrestling fans from Madison Square Garden - global diplomacy with a raucous ringside audience."
- "We want success here in Bali," the US Under-Secretary of State, Paula Dobriansky, told a gathering that had seemed primed for a lynching. "We will go forward and join consensus."
So, now WE apparently, are part of a Consensus. So now WE, are on the rapid road to becoming the United Nations of America. To be subjected to "World taxation" and a loss of what sovereignty we have left.
Dobriansky stated she changed her mind due to the "developing countries speakers being serious about acting to fight climate change." And mentioned that she did not consult Washington before changing her mind. If they are all so serious about fighting climate change, explain to me why so many of them flew in on private jets, that they had to park them elsewhere after dropping off their passengers?
I'll get concerned over climate change, when the Environmentalist's get concerned about climate change.
Pheisty, over on Pheisty Blog brought up an interesting point about this situation. A rather unique parallel to the Boston Tea Party that I recommend you take a look at. Pro Patria had a few good words on this as well. Good reading in my opinion.

Misconceptions of the N.I.E. Iran Report: More Q's Than A's
The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs carried an article written on December 5, 2007 entitled "Decoding the U.S. NIE on Iran's Nuclear Weapons Program," written by Prof. Gerald M. Steinberg. In it, Steinberg highlighted many points of the report that the majority of people simply don't know, or understand for that matter.
One item that stood out to me was that, the NIE report concludes that while Iran froze its active efforts to manufacture nuclear weapons in 2003 and has "high confidence" in that estimate, it also states that it has only "moderate confidence" that Tehran has not restarted the program.
Something else that should bring cause for concern/alarm that Steinberg mentions, is that the areas of the report that have been released seem to be based LESS on actual technical data, and MORE on Iran's Intentions. And as correctly surmised by Steinberg, "intentions are the most unreliable dimension in the realm of intelligence, and often reflect the interests, biases, and expectations of the assessor." With all the grief the U.S. Intelligence agencies have taken over the last few years, would it be too far fetched that they have gone this direction to ease the constant attacks on themselves?
The report is contradictory to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report which confirmed official Iranian claims to have completed construction of the 3,000 centrifuges necessary to produce highly enriched uranium. Israel, on the forefront of Iranian intentions, has been warning the U.S. for some time about the potential for a parallel "black" Iranian weapons program. If so, then the reactor being built in Arak leaves the possibility of another one being built elsewhere.
About a week after Steinberg's article (Thursday, December 13, 2007), NewsMax.com carried an article entitled, "NIE Poses More Questions Than Answers," by Kenneth R. Timmerman. In it, Timmerman mentions Ahmadinejad's surprise announcement that "welcomed" the NIE report on Iran, and how this managed to "catch everyone off guard. Timmerman also mentioned Ahhmadinejad's statement that the report had opened the way “for the resolution of basic issues in the region” and specifically for renewed relations between the U.S. and Iran.
Also intertwined in the mix of middle eastern intelligence soup, is the behind the scenes power struggle that is going on. Between Ahmadinejad and his groups, against the former President Ali Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani. Ahmadinejad's term expires in 2009, but the possibility exists that Rafsanjani could take over prior to that.
Rep. Pete Hoekstra has openly spoken about the "skepticism over the NIE report by people with better intelligence than we have . . . who have proven sources” in the region. Hoekstra has also mentioned what little the U.S. intelligence community actually knew about Iran, with the vast amount it didn’t know.
It really would be unwise to just "accept" the NIE report as gospel-truth, especially when even some Democrats seem to have a problem with it. California Democrat Brad Sherman has said, that it doesn't matter whether the NIE is accurate or not, but is important is what’s going on in Natanz, where Iran continues to enrich uranium.

Top Media Myths of 2007: Time To Clear The Air
It's not surprising to me to know that the media lies to us on a daily basis, which explains why "Their Approval Ratings" are even lower than that of the President. But in some cases, I actually was shocked to see how MUCH of a lie was being told in some stories.
The Bussiness and Media Institute just released its "Media’s Top 10 Economic Myths of 2007" list, and of course, has one of my favorite topics in it, Global Warming. (You didn't seriously think I was gonna skip something like this, did you?)
Most of the topics on the list, are items you and I know all to well about which, could almost fall under the "brain washing" category as we get pounded with them by the media over, and over, and over, and...
So here is the list, of the Top 10 Economic Myths of 2007;
- 10: Airlines are solely to blame for the unfriendly skies. Media myth: Blame the airlines for all those flight delays; never mind the obsolete government-run agency creating the gridlock.
- 9: Consumer spending is the be-all, end-all of the economy. Media myth: Without excessive consumer spending – especially at Christmastime – the U.S. economy will collapse.
- 8: The stock market is trouble, whether it goes up or down. Media myth: One day the stock market can’t sustain growth; the next, we’re just one drop away from another crash.
- 7: Anyone who ‘denies’ global warming shouldn’t be taken seriously. Media myth: Global warming could cause a ‘century of fires,’ just as it has created allergies and ended winter fashion. If we don’t do something now (i.e. spend hundreds of billions of dollars), it’s only going to get worse.
- 6: You’d better not eat/drink that! Media myth: Forget the right to eat as you please; the nanny-state knows better.
- 5: Most Americans are losing their homes. Media myth: Americans everywhere are losing their homes to foreclosure, and the housing bust is going to ruin the economy.
- 4: “Going Green” is good for America and business. Media myth: Businesses are much better off if they go green, and that’s what people really want anyway.
- 3: Lenders are responsible for everyone’s debts. Media myth: Drowning in red ink isn’t your fault; blame the guy who loaned you the money.
- 2: Free health care would be great! Media myth: To save our children and the 47 million uninsured Americans, and to keep up with the rest of the world, we must have government-run health care.
- 1: The U.S. Economy is in recession. Media myth: The U.S. economy is nearly in, or is in, a recession.

Ann Coulter Cleared: "Lefties" Outraged!
Ann Coulter, conservative radio talk show host and author, has been cleared of charges of voter fraud. And man-o-man, has the hate been flying. A simple google search for "Coulter Voter Fraud" gives page upon page of vile headlines including "gets away with it!"
But it really shouldn't be a surprise as it was a bogus charge anyways. Of course it did need to be investigated as all complaints to Elections Commissions should be. But once the facts were revealed, that should have been the end of story. It also shouldn't surprise anyone that it was of course, a "Leftie" that caused all this. A political consultant named Richard Giorgio, whose candidates are predominantly Democrats. Any shock and amazement here?
Didn't think so.
Commission General Counsel Charles Finkel said, "Although [Coulter] should have followed the directions of poll worker Jim Whited when she attempted to vote in Precinct 1198, there is no evidence that she willfully violated [Florida election laws] when she voted in Precinct 1196.”
Coulter had previously moved from one district to another, and had filed to have her address stricken from public record due to being "stalked." A hand delivered hate note had even been deposited in her mailbox at one time.
Also factoring into the ending decision was that the two year statute of limitations having been exceeded. Too little too late Lefties. Better luck next time.

Campaign To Defeat Murtha: Lt. Col. William Russell Steps Up
A recent commenter (Stephen R. Maloney) on my article last month "Happy Birthday U.S.M.C.." left some interesting information that some of you may be interested in.
Lt. Col. William T. Russell is planning to run against Murtha as a Republican in the 12th Congressional District of Pennsylvania in the November 2008 election. Russell's web page can be found HERE. I highly recommend taking a look. The guy seems to have some pretty worthwhile things to say.
The web page is still pretty new, so some of the links on it have yet to be populated.
You can take a look at Russell's views HERE on basic everyday-ism, Taxes and Immigration. While I agree with most of his immigration stances, I personally would be opposed to the "Brown Card" ideal, as it would still allow for many illegals to remain here in the U.S. But the rest of his immigration thoughts are good to go. This is a bit better than what we get outta Murtha.
All in all, this may be a candidate to keep an eye on for the 2008 Elections.

Tick-Tick-Tick: Fight Global WHINING.. Please!
With all the contrary evidence continuing to pile up (and there's still A LOT more coming,) it's a wonder how the enviro-commies have managed to avoid being drug out back and "double-tapped" to he head by now. It's utterly amazing how they still seem to exist. They're kinda like bad pennies, they just keep turning up.
And they keep cranking out the most annoyingly idiotic commercials you can imagine. This "Tick tick tick" one's been around for a while, and as you can guess, became the theme for this article. What can I say, other than they provided the canon fodder for me?
So, here's a rundown of just SOME of the articles I've tapped out about global warming. And this is just info collected by me. I'm not even gonna mention all the other stuff out there;
Gore and the money factor. Global Fatality. Warming is to blame. Child indoctrination. Ignoring the contrary. Media Participation.
So basically, Gore's just been in this from the start for the money, the most prominent scientific and weather realted minds say "it's crap," the majority of the recent California wildfires were set by people but the media says NO, the media has been stuffing global warming down our throats for years and Gore's mad it hasn't been enough, and rounding it off, were indoctrinating our kids with this crap.
No wonder America is going to hell in a handbasket.

2008 Candidates: Line Up For Religious Litmus Testing
Excuse me, but exactly when did we decide to just start pole vaulting, over 200 years worth of Constitutional basics and start giving our Candidates for the Presidency, or any office for that matter, a religious "explain yourself and your religion" test?
I didn't see that nationally broadcast memorandum. The Faxed Litmus test just never arrived at my workstation. I just don't recall that being acceptable, or even necessary for that matter. And as a matter of fact, that kind of questioning is strictly prohibited in the Constitution itself. When did this change?
Romney gave a good "speech." Unfortunately, that's all it was, just a speech that pretty much echoed JFK's speech from the 60's when he was getting grilled over his Catholicism. But personally, he should have never had to speak a word. And it didn't ally my thoughts as I wasn't planning to vote for him in the first place, and it had nothing to do with his religion. He's got some good points, but I don't believe his stances overall will be getting my vote.
But religion, in which ever form, and even though upheld by a very significant portion of the country, (somewhere in the mid 90% bracket) seems to have become a handicap that an inane few feel is worthy of attacking. Wrong answer.
If Democrats believe that their fellow candidates need to explain their religious belief systems, then perhaps we might like to demand they explain why they still haven't answered up for all the "missing" documentation during their last little "stint" at the White House. And the "they're just picking on me because I'm a woman," excuse isn't going to cut it either.
THAT, ISN'T an objective realm covered by the Constitution.

Attn: Mr. Bill Keller, Read Your Own Paper, No One Else Does Anymore
Continuing with the theme of ineptitude of media personages, it appears that the editor of the NYTimes himself doesn't even read his own paper. Or at least, it appears that way, as his Nov. 29th speech in London during the Hugo Young Memorial Lecture would attest to. It should be noted that Hugo Young was a long-time reporter and columnist for the left-wing Guardian newspaper.
Mr. Keller stated during his rant, that the war in Iraq is "going very badly." It's interesting that he would say that as just a week earlier, the NYTimes ceded to the reality that the situation in Iraq has, and is improving. Now, I would expect the EDITOR of the paper to at least remember an article like that.
Fat chance.
Mr. Keller went on to rant about this and that about the current Administrations policies, and even mentioned his displeasure of his own residence, and that of his publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. being exposed. I suppose if your a major liberal mouthpiece, your "allowed" to do it to currently serving political figures, but it's some sort of travesty if it's done to you.
Keller also included us (the blogosphere) in his caustic diatribe when he stated, "... There are many reasons for this -- including the proliferation of partisan blogs, hate-mongering radio broadcasts and intemperate television shout shows --..." I guess it's some sort of crime now to have a point of view. So much for the "Free Speech" that the papers themselves love to tout.
There was a lot more debasing and vile methane-like gas spewing from Mr. Kellers upper sphincter area, (namely, the hole under his nose,) during what was supposed to be a speech. But I won't bore you with it myself. You can read it all HERE yourself when you have the stomach for it.

Return Of The IMUS: Still Not PC, But Slightly More Wary
Don Imus has returned to the airwaves yesterday on WABC-AM in New York and broadcast his debut show from Town Hall in Manhattan, with gallery seats selling for around $100.00 a pop. The proceeds are to go to his charity, the Imus Cattle Ranch for Kids With Cancer. Tuesdays show will move to a studio across the street from Madison Square Garden.
And in classic Imus-style, he didn't hold back. Imus stated to listeners as he had in the past: “Dick Cheney is still a war criminal. Hillary Clinton is still Satan. And I’m going on the radio.” Imus had also mentioned he had learned his lesson, and added — to applause from the live audience — "The program is not going to change." I suppose that leaves zilch for room in the "I wonder if he'll still be Don Imus?" department.
Imus was accompanied in his return by longtime sidekick Charles McCord and producer Bernard McGuirk. Joining Imus and crew were to new figures, comedian Tony Powell and Karith Foster, an Oxford-educated “Texas cowgirl.” Both of which it should be noted are African-American. I'm only guessing here, but those additions were probably to fend off the Al Sharptons. Sharpton by the way, had held a press conference just a couple months ago about a possible Imus return, and mentioned that Imus had a right to earn a living, and could return to radio. Monday, Sharpton restated this same view.
Oh how thoughtful, Al.
Moving on, Imus had a few guests on his debut show to include a couple presidential contenders, being John McCain and Chris Dodd. Huckabee also agreed to do an interview, as well as Guiliani. Democratic strategist James Carville also agreed to do the show. But you know, Hillary and Obama, are “thought to be wary of resuming their link to him,” as reported by the Sun.
No kidding.

Savage vs. CAIR: Lawsuit By Savage Claims Copyright Infringement
CAIR (Counsel on American-Islamic Relations) has radically underestimated the fury of Michael Savage. And now they are going to pay for it. Having used copyrighted material from Michael Savage's show, "The Savage Nation" to raise funds for their own agendas, Michael Savage is now bringing suit against them for copyright infringement.
Nice. It's about time Americans started striking back at the "so-called religion of peace."
According to the article on NewsMax.com, In the suit he alleges that instead of being what it claims to be — a civil rights organization — it is actually a political organization “designed to advance a political agenda that is directly opposed to the existence of a free society that includes respect and dignity for all people and all religions.
It also states, “The copyright infringement herein is part of this plan. CAIR’s fundamental purpose is to be a lobbyist for foreign interests,” an allegation that the lawsuit backs up with numerous examples of CAIR’s activities.
Savage isn't pulling any punches in this. Good for him.
The lawsuit further alleges that “CAIR repackaged the content of Michael Savage’s show and manipulated that stolen content so that it could be used by CAIR to raise funds. Little or none of the money raised went to alleged “civil rights” activities.”
The lawsuit’s allegations conclude that “the theft of Michael Savage’s copyrighted material and the destruction of the proper context of that material is yet another tactic to silence critics of CAIR. CAIR was specifically and by name attacked by Michael Savage in his October 29, 2007 statement but CAIR did not contest the truth of Savage’s attack on CAIR but instead sought to steal and sully his copyrighted work.
Honestly, Savage should win this suit, but I wonder if he actually needs to win, as the further exposure of CAIR's agenda should spark other media institutions to do the same as Savage. Only time will tell.

Beginning Of The End: NY Times And Other 'Commie' Rags Failing
Can it really be true? Is the possibility real, that one of the most liberal media outlets is 'circling the drain' and soon to be flushed forever? Man, I hope so. I am really tired of hearing on a daily basis the "We Hate America," spew that erupts forth from that over priced fire lighter.
But the hopes of many a Republican may soon be answered in the near future as an article on NewsMax by Jim Meyers describes. Apparently, the NYTimes has been under a hiring freeze for a couple weeks now, and they are cutting several clerical and secretarial jobs. That's a hint folks. Trimming the necessary fat, next come the internal organs and muscles. The NYTimes is dying.
Add to the NYTimes woes, last Wednesday, an analyst with Banc of America Securities downgraded shares of the newspaper’s parent, the New York Times Co., lowering its rating from “neutral” to “sell.” YES! Sell baby, sell! The target price for the stock has been lowered from $21 to $14. OUCH! A third value decline.
But the best part, all of the OTHER "commie" rags that get smacked right along with the NYTimes. The company publishes other America-hating birdcage liners such as the Boston Globe, the International Herald Tribune and 15 other dailies. Can you imagine a world with that much less liberal propaganda? I'm not sure I could, with as much pummeling as we've taken from them and for so long.
Hopefully, Mr. Meyers is right, and the end is soon near for the NYTimes. I myself, am convinced we are seeing a swing in America. For the last several years, Americans faith in the media has declined. Approval ratings for the majority of media outlets these days, save FOXNews, has been even lower than that of Congress. When all people get day in and day out is how horrible America is, people begin to tune out and go to other outlets.
My hope is, that more people catch on, and start to speak with their wallets.

Should We Really ATTACK Iran: It Makes Sense NOT To
A recent NewsMax e-letter contained an article regarding attacking Iran which made quite a bit of sense. To me at least. The article was written by Jeff Burt and was titled, Expert: U.S. Attack on Iran Would Have Terrible Consequences.
Now technically, to me, it would make sense to disable Iran's nuclear programs before they use it. It's really not a matter of IF they'd use it, but WHEN and/or WHERE. I really am not too concerned about Israel, as they could pretty much decimate the middle east on their own if it really came down to it. My actual concern is what Iran would do to the other nations in the area that might refuse to "fall in step" with Iran's ideals once Iran gains nuclear weapons. And if you've read a couple of my past articles, that may not be far off.
But Burt's article brings to bear, an interesting perspective. According to Martin van Creveld, a professor of military history and strategy at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Iran is militarily impotent, and there is little Iran could do to "directly" impact America itself. But not knowing WHERE all of Iran's nuclear projects are located, in a country of its size means you CAN'T hit everything.
Add to that, a statement made by the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, Gen. Mahmoud Chaharbaghi, talking about "11,000 rockets that they would fire at a single moment,” and it becomes obvious why the OTHER gulf nations would be more worried than anyone about an attack on Iran. The only serious damage America itself would face, is where those 11,000 rockets, if they actually worked, are pointed. Strikes on a descent percentage of Oil commodities there in the Gulf region could have a serious and immediate effect on America itself.
Burt's article closes out with, In the end, what may be best for the U.S., Israel and the rest of the region is for negotiations with Iran, van Creveld said. The West should accept a nuclear Iran and draw the country into talks about setting up some kind of regional security program. Western powers also need to ensure that the Gulf states are protected, a move that he believes already is underway, possibly through a deal with the United States.
I don't think actual negotiations would resolve it permanently or effectively enough as multinational directive. In a manner of uniting the surrounding gulf nations against Iran. Not militarily (unless necessary) but politically. They have the most to lose if Iran gets out of hand. And they would be in the best position to enact and enforce sanctions.
